After a professional victory vs Southampton, it's time to shift our focus to the Champions League. It's really important that we win this game as it's at home but also to ensure a higher finish in the group. The good news is that Theo should definitely have more minutes and Flamini is back as well. Bring on Marseille. KILL! COYG!

Thanks Kevin for getting the thread up so soon. The nearness of this one has caught a bunch of us by surprise.

    Gotta whup em.

An "A-" team should be enough. Ideally, Theo and Gnabry to start, with Giroud on the bench.

With Dortmund missing so many players, Napoli definitely has the edge in their match. That's why it's huge that we win this match as well. I hope we give Arteta a rest and start Flamini and potentially Rosicky.

I want to see Monreal get more time. I know Gibbs is playing great right now but Monreal is no slouch.

Our last champions league group stage match will be between games against Everton and Chelsea, so it is vital that we wrap up the group stage this midweek.

Very true. I don't really care who we play as long as we win. That's all that matters.

Don't we need to win out to guarantee a spot? Absent other teams helping us out. There's still the chance three of us end up at twelve.

if Dortmund loses to Napoli, we qualify

I think we qualify with a Dortmund/Napoli draw too, as long as we beat L'OM

That's what I thought. A Dortmund loss, or a draw + Arsenal win puts us through. Anything else, and we still need to win out. I tried to go through the "what happens if everyone end up at 12" in the last thread, but I really just embarrassed myself with bad math.

Anyway, the point is: no rotation. Giroud up front. I'd like to see Monreal get some time as well, but you just don't mess with that, do you? He'll have to wait for the FA cup. I'm guessing Arteta will be rested.

Well....It's payback time for me having to leave for work, as we kicked off against The Saints on Saturday.

Should be at the Pub in plenty of time for a 9.45 AM Kick off here..

We should start Walcott for this one and take him off in the 60th. We could use him soon so the sooner he gets fit the better. I would say go with Gnabry too. Just hope that doesn't throw the chemistry off too much.

I know it won't happen, but I would love to see us rest Giroud and try Walcott up top and either Rosicky or Gnabry on the right, give Ozil some speed and width to throw some through balls at ...

Agreed. I wouldn't mind if Giroud wasn't even in the squad.

We have more than enough to beat them, at home, without him.

On paper we should should easily win this. We sit atop a better league, when OM lies in 4th. We are at home. We beat them at their home. Etc, etc.

But this is a football match so...

    COYG!!!

Edit: And Ramsey continues to be our OM marksman. :D

Giroud hit the deck more than once on Saturday. Put Theo up top for 60mins and bring on Bendtner once the game is in hand.

Payet and Andre Ayew are out of that game. Valvuena and Gignac may not play either since the coach wants to
focus on the French league instead.
