Marcelo Claure and Guido Loayza, worried about the dismal situation of our soccer in general, have released the campaign 'Salvemos el Futbol' where, among other things, they seek to change the structure of 'el monstruo de tres cabezas' and establish term limits for the dirigencia. Salvemos el Futbol
It all makes sense really...but good luck trying to enforce ANY of that. That takes money, time, planning, and all of these team owners probably could care less...
we all need to come to terms with the fact that nobody in our country has the balls and most importantly the money to invest into our futbol, and why should they? because as long as we have liga, anf, fbf and these bums that get reelected for years and years and years that never leave; we will never make a change and we will be the saddest futbol federation in the world, if we aren't already.
http://www.la-razon.com/marcas/Chavez-anuncia-fin-ciclo_0_1934806513.html Apparently Chavez decided that he likes better the big bucks from Conmebol and thus is quitting the FBF FINALLY! Now lets just hope Claure gets in the game...hes the most likely to provide it with a solid ground!
BTW...its funny that he is quitting just as a new law is in the works to investigate the wealth of sports leaders...
http://videobolivia.com/noticias.php?id=24356 Here is some video. I hope this really happens and we get rid of this parasite! All he did was bleed the country.
http://videobolivia.com/noticias.php?id=24366 And yet another one of these clowns leaving. I love how he says that people still want him, but that he has made up his mind and he is now choosing to work in the private sector. Can you believe the lack of balls to admit he screwed up, he sounds as if he lives in a parallel universe where him and Chavez are great honest guys!!!
100% You got it bro. We were doing so well in the late 80's and early 90's. The quality of futbol just totally diminished. Countries that were behind us are in front of us. Places like USA, Venezuela, Ecuador, and probably Panama have all improved their game at such an alarming rate. About time this chapter ended.
So, since nothing came out of this campaign, now Claure is purportedly running for the FBF presidency. Gosh I hope it happens! Too bad that the Chavez and his cronies control a lot of votes... http://www.eldiario.net/noticias/20...7&-claure-se-lanza-a-la-presidencia-de-la-fbf
Getting Chavez out of there is a great start. If you look at the cituation, he should just step down, have some pride. Our Futbol has gone backwards under his watch, it's irrelevant who's fault it is, he was at the top boss. As such he needs to step up and get out.
http://www.eldeber.com.bo/Deportes/federacin-informa-que-claure-est-inhabilitado/140830000049 Claure got railroaded and according to the powers that be in Bolivia does not qualify for the presidency because he's not a real dirigente. This news comes after one of the other Chavez rivals, Cronembold, was deemed unable to run as well. The FBF presidency is now between Chavez and the only opposition left in Ribera from Oriente. LMAO I gotta tip my hat to Chavez, he's playing chess while Claure is playing checkers. And after the debacle in MLS Miami I see a pattern here of him getting easily outmaneuvered by these masters of the dark arts. He may be a great businessman but he's got a lot to learn about dealing with these shady characters. Oh well, Chavez and his ANF cronies it is for the foreseeable future. Same as it ever was.
We got Chavez all over again. Back to the same old loosing teams. I read somewhere they are looking to keep Azcargorta. IMO that's not such a bad idea, but who knows that may be just smoke and mirrors.
That's what he said, but I don't think that will be the case. I remember there was a point where we were talking with Julio Falcioni, ex boca coach. He did OK with Boca, but had them play ugly and more a counter attacking side. I think he'd be a great coach to have us play a counter attacking, making the most out of our talent style of coach. He was just let go in Chile at UC. I wonder if he will be a coach we are interested in again?
Liga president Decormis is ducking any situations with league teams in order not to answer any questions regarding the recent federative elections. the opposition is now 7 of the 12 teams and Decormis has been kicked out of his spot at Nacional Potosi. Roger Bello is facing heat because there has not been any agreement for league fixtures. If the wave doesnt stop and the public keeps pressing the issue, there should be some change and The Strongest recent tax troubles should help give the situation some attention. After all this it seems like our NT has probably thrown games in order for other conmebol teams to qualify for the WC because some how Carlos Chavez has gotten to treasurer level in Conmebol. i hate that guy so much
God--if we've thrown games...I'd stop supporting the national team completely. I can't imagine what salvadorian NT fans must feel like. Sometimes I look at at the game vs. San Lorenzo, and I just wonder...
I'm disgusted with our national team and the people who are in control. The worst part is that having had the chance to get rid of Chavez, one of the worst Presidents in our federation history we give him another term. I really don't even know where we would beguin to turn things around. This qualifiers hasn't started and we are already looking like the bottom of the barrel, with no chance to come out.
http://www.la-razon.com/marcas/futb...eremos-complejo-consolidado_0_2187381328.html I saw this interview with the Bernardo Pavisic, he's the new Aurora president. I like how he thinks about developing the infrastructure and the youth teams. In a small way he's making positive changes in our futbol structure. Here is another article: http://www.la-razon.com/marcas/futbol/hara-Aurora_0_2187381329.html
I've been to their training facility, it's very decent and has a lot of open space to expand on. I hope Bolivar gets started on the CAR they've been announcing, we need more teams in our league to develop infrastructure for our youth.
