I see Arsenal beat Liverpool u18s today 2-1, Crowley went off near HT with a slight injury and Maitland Niles scored the winner. Perhaps most interesting was Chris Willock started as one might have expected and was apparently mostly impressive.

    The team:

    Huddart
    Siemann-O’Connor-Dallison-Uade
    Jebb-Kamara
    Maitland Niles-Crowley-Willock
    Iwobi
subs: Lipman (for Crowley, 43), Dobson (for Kamara, 72), Smith (for Willock, 82).
    Not used: Iliev, Wright.

The U21 League Format is a lot simpler this time around. The 22 teams in the Division play each other home and away in a Round Robin League and the Top 4 play-off in the Semi-Finals.

    Man U 2 LFC 4 at U21 Prem League.

Jordan Ibe scored against Man U U21s

Morgan scoring against Man U U21s

Lingard and Cole scored for Man U. I don't have vids of these though. Rossiter at just 16 looks really promising at U21 level. One to watch.

Could just be the sheer volume of games. They might be worried what with the UEFA competition (I think) coming up?

As I did last season, I'm keeping tabs on all goalscorers in the Cat 1 leagues. Will probably drop some lists in intermittently.

looked at a few highlights of arsnal vs man utd.... Wilson scored a very good goal weaving his way past a few players, I wasn't aware he had that in his game. Crowley play an importan part in arsenals goal, receiving the ball near halfway then playing a sharp 1-2, followed by a burst of pace passed a defender, then playing the ball through to akpom for a pen. Got injured after 30 min though

There will be two u21 leagues, so the top eleven will stay up, and the bottom 11 will go down. After that it is two up two down.

Chelsea u21s beat Norwich 2-0 last night. They played a good passing game with an urgency and commitment about them. Feruz was the front man so Brown played a more withdrawn but more involved role and he did pretty well. RLC and Kiwomya only came on as subs.

I'll post them tonight when I'm home. Moussa Dembele is the U18 league leading scorer with 13, and there's a five-way tie at the top of the U21s off my head.

    Nice. Cheers for that.

Moussa Dembele part 2 looks a talent as well. Didn't remember him being a striker though from what i had seen of him previously.
