LSW's new agent is Pep Guardiola's brother http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/pere-guardiola/details/berater_2777.html http://sports.news.naver.com/sports...&mod=read&office_id=001&article_id=0006489097
did some research on Paik Seung-Ho status.. still with Juvie B but won't or isn't registered to play in Youth League games due to FIFA regulation. http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20130806/mundo-barsa/barca-futbol-base-juvenil-b_54379210339.html and this is the current list for registered players for Juvie B (btw, Theo Chendri can't play either currently) http://futbolbasecatala.cat/es/barca:14?e=4&t=3
ahhh they finally updated it much rather have BSH train with juve B than some different team He'll definitely start any tourneys they play (which is a lot)
Juvenil B is for 16-18 y/o and he's 15. Pretty much skipped Cadete A (The team Baek Sung Ho is in). Jang is stuck in Cadete B. Barca B Juvenil A Juvenil B Cadet A Cadet B
Messi playing for Juvenil B Even Messi played for Cadete A and B but LSW is going to skip Cadete all together. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_Messi
yup, he isn't skipping Cadete A at all. this is likely for Jang as well... play few Juvie B tournaments.
I guess this is there method of gaining experience without playing them in the domestic youth league. They are banned from playing in the domestic youth league right?
aww he isn't messi dribbling the opponents all the time like before, passing a ton isntead http://tvpot.daum.net/mypot/View.do?ownerid=HScy4iOA8LM0
Seems like LSW got promoted to Juvenil B, which is rare, because then he can play in any unofficial tournaments for both Juvenil B AND Cadete A. The FIFA ban prevents them from playing in the domestic youth league, since it's run by FIFA. They can participate in any Catalan tournaments, since Catalunya doesn't fall under the jurisdiction of FIFA and any of the international friendlies/tournaments not sponsored by FIFA. But for the ban, I think LSW would have been promoted to just Cadete A. This ban totally sucks. If Pere Guardiola is his agent, Pere's pretty shrewd, so this was a clever negotiation but dunno if that will still ensure enough playing time. There were rumors that BSH would be loaned out to a Catalan football team, as they don't fall under the jurisdiction of FIFA and the ban does not apply. I don't think Barcelona will win the appeal tho. Any news on Jang?
LSW has special written all over him. If he doesn't turn into a world class player, he will still be a very good player. http://tvpot.daum.net/mypot/View.do?ownerid=HScy4iOA8LM0&page=2&clipid=50416705
None that I know of, but the way I read the regs, no way that they can get the ban lifted. It is frustrating because there are MANY youth players being signed to academies in violation of the FIFA regs. Rumor has it that Valencia was the club that complained to Barça re: Lee and Valencia ALSO has a Korean canterano, Lee Kangin, which is just as much a violation of FIFA regs. It's frustrating because Lee has improved a lot just by being at Barça for two years now and this is such a crucial time for his development and for his ability to break into the Barça 1st team. Sigh.
i wish i could be as optimistic as you. Being banned from the domestic league is like being banned from school. Now he's playing in tournaments (hagwons) to learn football. Its better than nothing but it should not be a substitute to the real stuff.
