Well folks, last home game with 2 season games left. No play-offs this year, just memories.

There is not much really to play for as far as the Red Stars are concerned. Sky blue may be still playing for home field advantage for the play-offs.

This is a good time for Rory Dames to put in those kids that don't get enough playing time like Dinara Garza, let's see what she can do. Put in Taylor Vancil in goal.

Another note is that Chicago home-town girl and one of my favorite players, Brittany Bock should be in town with Sky Blue.

Hope fans will still show up at Benedictine tomorrow night and give the Red Stars a big thank you for showing big heart and never giving up this season until they were literally kicked off the field.

Sorry to disappoint you MRAD, but Bock has been ruled out for SkyBlue this weekend due to an ankle sprain.

I think Chicago has a good chance of winning this game. They were able to tie a full strength SkyBlue back in May, so an injury-riddled SkyBlue may be easier to take down.

I second the call for seeing more of the players who haven't seen much action this season.

Oh man, are you serious? I was hoping to see Brit and her mom and dad. The last time I saw her dad was in Seattle when she broke her arm, but didn't have long to talk much because they had to get her to the hospital.

Great kid, Great family. Always a fan of Brit Bock.

My recommendations to the Red Stars today:

Go out there and have fun! Let as many players play as the sub rule will allow.
Smile the whole time you are on the field. You have nothing to prove to anyone, ladies.

We have already seen your Heart on many an occasion this season and know how BIG it is.

Oh, I'm rooting hard for the Red Stars today. Partly because I want SkyBlue to lose, but mostly because of what happened on Wednesday night. To be eliminated from a postseason spot in that manner is not something I would wish on any team. Well, maybe if it happened to Birmingham, but that's the only exception. Chicago got robbed of the chance to pull off their late game heroics by the weather, and they deserve to get the win tonight.

3-3 final. Third game I've had to miss because they scheduled them on days the Fire also played.

Chose to miss. You could have skipped the Fire game as well.

I chose to go to the Red Stars game. Actually I sat up there with the Bock family. Brittany was in the stands as well because she wasn't playing, as BlueCrimson said.

Fannadict I know you are a big Fire fan first and foremost. And I understand how you love Toyota Park and its ambiance. So I understand you.
I am a big Fire fan as well, but I go to Red Stars games when both are playing because I feel at this time the CRS need my support more and frankly I often have more fun at Red Stars games then Fire games.
Also by the time I pay to park at Toyota Park, have a beverage or two, some food, to see the Fire in another tie or loss, my wallet is empty, then the slow drive out of TP after the game is finished and they make you go south on Harlem avenue and I need to go north.
At Benedictine there is no charge for parking, easy out, food is less expensive and I have a blast.
Don't get me wrong, I still go to a lot of Fire games but I try to give the Red Stars more support because they need and deserve it.

But there are those who claim to be BIG Red Stars fans who are at every Fire game but I never see them at any Red Stars games even when they play different days and some of these are people who were members of Red Stars supporters group back in 2009. When I ask them how come I never see them at a Red Stars game, they always come up with some really lame excuse. I call them fake fans and I wish they would quit pretending to be big Red Stars fans.

Yes I did choose but since I already had a ticket and parking pass for the fire game and did not for the red stars, the choice was easier. I hope next year the red stars consider not playing on dates the fire also has a game.

Maybe next year they can work with the league on this. But I'm to believe it's not the Red Stars fault they play on these dates. I'm thinking the league makes the dates.

Yes I fully support any fan making the choice to go to whatever game they prefer. I would not go to a MLS game over a NWSL game myself, but to each his/her own.

I doubt the league has the wherewithal to move dates around based on what other leagues are doing. Expect more choices next year.
