For a fan of a team which lost a chance to qualify several months ago, you are disrespect too much...:p But I can understand the frustration ;)

Stalin Motta scored the winning goal in Venezuela vs. Trujillanos, which should be enough for Equidad to seal the deal in Bogota.

Well, their style play is 4-4-2 or 4-2-2-2 under coach Nestor Otero and they are not the most attacking team in the world. This team has a defensive style of football, the create their chances mostly in counter attacks and you can see that even when they couldn't score at home vs. such a horrible team like Trujillanos. Their best player is the captain and playmaker, Stalin Motta. very technic player, very good passes and good shooting outside the box. Next to him there's Jonathan Alvarez, also can perform as a 10 or an 8 with the same characters of great vision and shooting outside the box. If Cobreloa will cancel them, La Equidad will be in deep trouble. The strikers are Jose Pepe Moreno, once a top scorer in America Cali and with a past in Europe, but the guy misses tons of chances so I wouldn't worry about him. Wilson Morelo is a talented striker, quick, good box striker but also not something that you should be afraid of. They have LB Darwin Andrade, very talented kid who helps the attacking game from his flnaks, promesing kid and some of their chances will come from him. The have former int'l CB, Pedro Portocarrero, 35-years-old and they have good keeper name Diego Novoa, for me one of the best keepers in the league. on the bench then have Henry Hernandez, decent striker, who may start instead of Pepe in my opinion and I also think that he is better finisher then Pepe and had a good touernament with Cucuta last year. argentine DM Fernando Batiste is also a player to watch along with another talented offensive midfielder, Jose Najera, who can also play as a second striker. I don't klnow Cobreloa so well, but from what I say, I think it's gonna be an even series, but since it'll be very hard for La Equidad to take something in Chile, they must take advantage their home court if they wish to pass. Not easy to play in their small stadium, "Techo" in Bogota.

Hope it's good enough for you ;)

Thank you very much pibe10, very very complete info:thumbsup::)
Cobreloa is unbeaten in the last 4 months (we only lost 2 games in 2013, both in April: 1 in the Transición and 1 in Copa Chile).
Our play style is 3-3-1-3, and sometimes in the 2nd halfs it's 4-2-1-3.

Like I told you, Jaime, no need to worry. La Equidad for some reason was one of the sucessful clubs in Colombia since the promoted in 2007 but their football was always ugly and gray and another 0-0 at home vs. Cobreloa will most probably end their story in the Sudamericana.

No fans , no money and lack of players. Do teams in Colombia ever move locations or change names?

Probably they will get a lot of support at Antofagasta tomorrow, due to the large Colombian "diaspora" in the north (Antofagasta and Calama). I don't think that the Colombians that live in Santiago will travel to the distant Antofagasta (21 hours on a bus; 2 hours on airplane).

When América de Cali played a friendly match in Antofagasta against the host club, there were many Colombian fans in the stadium (1.000 maybe?).

Would be funny if they have more 'fans' in Chile then in Colombia

I went to the final against Nacional and I saw more America de Cali shirts then Equidad ones

According to the last numbers, there're more than 5,000 Colombians in the city of Antofagasta (until 2010, there were only 2,000 Colombians in Antofagasta).

Equidad qualified!!! hahaha I cannot believe it. Jaime, my Chilean friend, what the hell happened to you guys today? You should've won this one! But as a Colombian fan, I'm glad that we are still 100%. 4 out of the last 16 are Colombian clubs.
