3 more games folks! and the Red Stars are still in it.

Just think about this, both USWNT allocations injured and gone all and most of the season, Boxx and Lepeilbet. Big time defender injured in T. Hemmings. Captain, most skilled player and best player period in Lori Chalupny injured. Injuries throughout the season, no "stars", no "Divas" and this team is still fighting for a play-off spot with 3 games left to go. BIG fight - BIG heart in these ladies.

Red Stars must win all three games and need a little help from others to sneak into the play-offs.

Most people around the country other then Chicago could probably care less if the Red Stars make it to the play-offs.
In fact I'm sure most would like to see a play-off consisting of Abby Wambach , Carli Loyd, Lauren Cheney, Erika Tymrak, Lisa DeVanna, Rampone, Alex Morgan, Tobin Heath, Sinclair, but no Ella Masar, no Erin Mcleod, no Leslie Osborne, no Adriana Leon.

Well, those are all deserving names but we in Chicago feel differently. We do want to see a play-off involving our Leslie, and Ella and Dri, and Erin and the rest of the Chicago Red Stars roster.

    Go Red Stars!!

I think, if the best four teams -- at this time -- were to come through, it would be FCKC, Portland, WNY, and Chicago. It certainly looks to me like the Red Stars at this moment are superior to Sky Blue.

Assuming you win tonight v the Spirit, I guess we'll find out on Saturday.

Agreed. Consider this: In Sky Blue's last nine games, they've only registered two wins - two struggling 1-0 wins over the hapless Spirit - and scored only seven times.
Unfortunately, the only way for Chicago to finish ahead of Sky Blue is if Chicago wins out and Sky Blue loses out. I think Chicago can beat DC and NJ - not sure if CHI can top KC considering how hot the Blues are, but they are 1-1-1 against the Red Stars - but the kicker is that NJ's last game is against the Spirit.

Well, that ends that, at least as far as the playoffs go. Sad way to end, not even getting to finish it on the field. But at least they made the season interesting.

    Yup, that's that.

DC does a double whammy to Chicago last night. I was at the Fire vs. DC United game last night, came home disappointed, then read the score of the Red Stars vs. Spirit game and went to bed.

Rory Dames should now play the players who rarely get playing time. Put in Dinara Garza and let the kid play some.

MRAD, you said it all! Well done! I'm proud of the team despite them missing the playoffs!
