Random fact: Wang´s shot for the goal was clocked in at 105km/h.

Although Wang scored i'm disappointed to see that hes taken a CM role. I thought he defended more than he attacked.

I think that was more because Timmy Simmons got sent off early in the game, if u look at the game prior to the red card Wang was very high up the field almost as a shadow striker

pretty sure he was playing more of a winger/side AMF role. But yea I agree with your statement

You´re probably right, he was very active and all over the place in the beginning so it was kinda hard to point out his position. Anyways we couldn´t have asked for a better start with him scoring the first goal of the season and put in a solid performance

Yup. Dumb manager never plays him or has him on the bench anymore. It would be better for Chen to return to Shanghai Shenxin for the playing time.

    Shangyuan WANG
    "A dream start"
And was he happy, the Chinese midfielder of Club Brugge! Shangyuan Wang gave The Blues the lead with a tremendous long-range finish against a very defensive Charleroi. After Simons' red card Garrido had to reshuffle his players in midfield, but when Charleroi were down to ten men as well, there was more space in midfield again. "It's true, it wasn't easy for us when we had to see Simons leave the pitch early. It took us a while before we were organized. At half-time the coach spoke with me in person and encouraged me to fire at goal when I had the chance. Actually, my movement just before my goal is something we have worked on a lot during training. First a short corner and then one of the midfielders should be unmarked and ready to fire from range. And today this worked out perfectly. When I saw the ball hit the back of the net, I immediately thought: what a dream start! It sure wasn't an easy game but this result gives us confidence for the European game on Thursday."
