No, they won't. their era is over. By the way, if Pekerman won't continue, I wouldn't jump right away on a local coach. We pay the highest salary in South America but we are also getting results. the FCF must do anything to find a good coach, even if it means that we'll have to pay a bit more. it's worth for everyone. The fans are happy, fill the stadium in every game, more money for the association and our football image in the world is admirable. As for Colombian coach, I don't know if osorio is fit, personally I don't like his football, even though with results we cannot argue. But not every club coach can take the NT over. Alvarez can be good, Hernan Torres can be good, and Rueda can be good. Other then that, I prefer foreign.

That's all good but you are talking about Colombia... The only reason Pekerman is our NT coach is because our president put the money and pressure to get a foreigner good coach.
Think about it in 2002 we failed for 2006 we had Maturana (again) and we failed (again) and they promissed a foreigner coach for 2010 (and also bedoya promisse that he will resign if we fail to qualify); obviously nothing of that happen (anyone who thought otherwise is naive) even Pinto showed some premature signs of big failure by having one of our worst Copa America ever... As expected they failed and Bedoya not only didn't resign but appointed Maturana(the guy who failed badly in 2006) as Manager with Bolillo (another failure as a NT coach)

Our history show that they do whatever the heck hey want, plus they don't care about having good results they just want to steal.... Is very simplistic but that's their ambition, very simplistic, for them this situation is uncomfortable; even though they will be able to steal more, they prefer the mediocre way

While I basically agree with Jevoman, I also think that they did not realize how much money a successful team can generate, meaning more money for them to steal. Hopefully the heads of the Federation are not complete idiots and understand where all this money is coming from and that neither Pachito o Bolillito are able to bring the same.

If they understand that, I hope to have a good coach after Pekerman leaves. But I do think that Bedoya and co. are morons, so maybe understanding this is beyond their grasp and they'll settle again for a useless puppet coach that they can use to rob the fed.

100%. It feels like they never considered the potential financial upside to actually winning...

I'm sorry, but you just described at least 70% of the associations chairmen around the world. You want to see corruption? Come and see what the Israeli association president do. It's no news to anyone that they do what they want and still I don't think we'll ever gonna see Bolillo or Maturana on the bench again.

Actually yes :) the corruption drips from his ears. I'm not saying that there's no corruption in Colombia, but don't turn it like it's the only corrupt association.

Oh no, by no means. Blatter is a crook and it all spill downs at every level: Jack Warner, Nicolas Leoz, Grondona, just to name a few. If their career path was not in Football Managing they all could very well join La Cossa Nostra.

I only think that you misunderestimate how encroached are Bolillo and Maturana with the FCF..

I do understand that their relations are very strong, but I still stand for my opinion. Plus, you'll never know who'll be the next president. Maybe it'll be someone inside the FCF and maybe not. I think that with Pekerman's success, they understand that it'll be much more worth for them then a medicore team. But corruption in football is a huge problem that almost every association is seffer from.

But that's besides the point, we are not arguing if there are more corrupt organizations in the world, of course there are; what we are arguing is that if Bolillo could be our NT team again or even being president or manager of our organizaion.
The answer is yes, deff. Even if you compare Colombia lvls of corruption to other Countries, we are very high on the ranking, so the probability in Colombia for shit like this to happen is very high

Mission completed! Panama won Nicaragua 0-2 (Blas Perez and Roman Torres scored in the 81st & 82nd minutes) and qualified for the Gold cup 2015. Of course that it's a joke, Panama could have qualified without a coach as well, his big test will be the Gold cup itself & of course the 2018 qualifiers. Panama has a good team.
