Dutt currently plans to field Harthertz as left back (fighting with Iggy and Cimo Röcker for the Spot). In defensive midfield Makiadi and Ekici have the best chances to start. As back-ups we have Iggy (if one of the youngsters plays LB), Junuzovic (who also fights for a starting spot as a winger with Arnautovic), Clemens Firtz (can also play RB), Aleksandar Stevanovic and Bargfrede, who is currently injured. And either Kroos or Trybull. That are 6 back-ups for 2 positions even if one gets loaned. That is enough depth at DMC. When you consider Lukimya as an option too, we really have enough quantity, quality is another point.
Oh dang! I left out Prunozovic! Pruno is jail alcohol if you haven't done hard time and when I think of Juno , I think of 10 day old cider made in a public toilet. That dude's got Flavah! Anyways, back on this planet...thats a pretty good synopsis of the Rubick's Cube that is Werder presently. You know we don't really have a player that just owns his spot out-right all except Meilitz,Hunt and Peterson. Oh God, what I just said - that scares me! I'm not even gonna ask how Hunt is or I'll just go mad. And "no" I've never done time, jail drinks are just a hobby
Another interesting bild article: http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/t...kommen-noch-ein-zwei-stars-31538042.bild.html Apparently Eichin has stated that Werder intend to bring in two more "Stars" before the end of the transfer window. Rumors/logic would indicate we're looking at a left back, and an attacking midfielder/striker -Eichen also says theyre looking for players that speak German/play a similar style to cut down on integration time. Perhaps a new DeBruyne can be found?
Thats it...they are reading our forum! So listen carefull...ssshhh...we need a goooooalieeee toooo. Pleeeeeaase
Is rumored something about youth signings in Bremen? Is the Alfred Finnbogason transfer failed? Something new about new De Bruyne?
So much interest from English clubs makes this a toss up, I even see rumours that Celtic are interested. Another Das Bost or a Huntelaar? Its a big gamble and I don't think Bremen can gamble at the moment when there are capable strikers in place. If he does transfer now it will be cheaper than at the Winter transfer window once he has scored 15 goals for his current club. Last I heard deBruyne is having his knee scanned and is still injured. He will be on the bench for the time being. Andre Schurrle is also benched.
Sorry Winni, I do not explained well. I think about "new De Bruyne", youth player who will play this season like a attacking midfielder/striker. Is it something new with that? About LB, following transfermarkt.de, Markus Suttner (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/markus-suttner/profil/spieler_31514.html) mentioned like one of the options for LB (fighting for the spot with Harthertz and Cimo Röcker, maybe Iggy)
According the transfermarkt.de Werder is interest in two Bayern Munich players. The first is Diego Contento (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/diego-contento/profil/spieler_39717.html), left back. Following site the chances to come in Werder are 35%. Another player is Emre Can (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/emre-can/profil/spieler_119296.html). He is defensive midfielder, but he also plays central midfielder and attacking midfielder. His chances to come to Weser, according transfermarkt.de are 20%. One disadvantage is the many other teams are also interest in Emre Can: Eintracht Frankfurt (27%), Galatasaray (22%), Fenerbahce (13%), Bayer Leverkusen (?), Hamburger SV (?), and FC Augsburg (?). Also following transfermarkt.de Turkish team, Konyaspor is interest in Joseph Akpala. Chance to go to Turkey are 25%. I am really sad about this news, because Akpala played great in friendly matches. I hope he will not go to Konyaspor. More likely grow chances to Denni Avdic go to AZ Alkmaar. According transfermarkt.de (43%).
Transfermarkt lists too many potential transfers. It's worth checking from time-to-time, but I wouldn't put too much faith in it. (Anything less than 80% is probably not going to happen.)
Ok, but to make figure reached 80% must first be reduced. Diego Contento chances appeared suddenly, like summer rains. I was surprised by the big chances (35%), but these chances gradually decrease, so that probably has nothing with Contento transfer. I am so happy because the chances to Akpala go to Turkey were reduced over night. Denni Avdic chances to go to AZ Aklmaar are bigger. Now they are 53%, according transfermarkt.de, but I think that Denni will go to AZ. PS. In my country now is 8.35, morning, in your is probably different.
Both Contento and especially Emre Can would be excellent signings, even on a loan. Hope it happens, would be beneficial to us and Bayern actually, as playing time is exactly what those kids need.
The Contento rumour is very attractive, and I'd be happy to see it through. I can't see Can coming, though. He doesn't have a lot of experience, so he'd be just another youngster hoping for DM experience (along with Kroos, Trybull, Ignjovski, Bargfrede, Stevanovic, etc., so it's unlikely that we can give him the playing time Bayern would expect.)
Increase the opportunities to Denni Avdic go to AZ Alkmaar (61%). But he is not so many necessaryalong Elia, Arnautovic, Akpala, Petersen, Wurtz and Füllkrug. I think that he will go to the Netherlands. I would like to Diego Contento go to Werder, a lot to boost defense. It would be good to have a "Chinese wall" in defense with Bayern school. I think it would be nice with other Werder defense players. The bad news is that these chances gradually decrease. Something new besides this?
According the transfermarkt.de, Werder Bremen is intersted in Marek Suchy (http://www.transfermarkt.de/de/marek-suchy/profil/spieler_34542.html), Spartak Moscow CB. He is twenty-five-year Czech international player. Following transfermarkt.de his price is about 4.500.000 € (left in picture).
Denni Avdic so close to go to AZ Alkmaar. According the transfermarkt.de the chances to Denni go to Netherlands are 73%. He was injured and we did not see how he plays after returning from PEC Zwolle. Following transfermarkt.de, Werder is interest in Basel player, Valentin Stocker. He is twenty-four year old Switzerland international player. He is playing as left midfielder and his price is about 6.000.000 €. His chances to go to Werder are 20%.
sladoled. Relax. Dont get attached to those %. They can be right sometimes but most of the time it is rubbish.
NP Slado! Keep posting and %ing! I see your Werder enthusiasm! I am 46 years old and thinking about this team makes me feel like I am 12 years old 100%. For you its summertime, school's out and a football season starts next week! How did you like that Fulham match? Alot of reasons to have hope this season...maybe a Europe spot next year? I don't think Contento will come to Bremen yet, not with Badstuber injured they have no back-up there for Alaba (who is one of my favourite players of all), unless you count Lahm but history shows he is never leaving RB position. About Deni Avdic - Alkmaar rumour is surely true. Werder can loan him one season and then his contract is up for renewal - perfect for everyone involved. Alkmaar are also interested in den Haag but he will likely end up at a bigger European Club the same way Avdic ended up in Bremen. Jose Altidore leaving has made signing a striker imperative.
This is the kind of quality Werder needs. Sign him now, put him in your back pocket before another club gets him and MOVE OVER Astroboy, this is how you score goals! He and Cardiola can make pizzas all night long...I swear its like watching Maradonna
Youtube makes a lot of players look like Maradona to be honest He has 6 goals in 26 Serie A matches so doesn't look great but he is only 22. He could improve of course but I wouldnt put money on him becoming a top player.
Arnautovic only had 12 goals in 44 matches with Twente Avdic had 26 goals in 104 matches with Elfsborg Peterson had 35 goals in 56 matches with Cottbus Akpala had 44 in 130 matches with Brugge Arnautovic was 22 at the time of the transfer, so we were hoping he would be better than 14 goals in 70 matches for Werder. Peterson is/was easily the best striker transfer we've had in a while as he netted 11 in 22 matches for us last season. If we are set to lose both Avdic and Akpala, we will need another striker and I wouldn't mind a young 22 year old for a small/modest fee that could potentially have a huge upside. Discovering up and coming talent on the cheap and turning them into world class competitors that sell for triple or quadruple what we paid for them has always been Werder's bread and butter. We're due for a lucrative investment.
Ya thats why Barrios would fit nicely, but the price tag? Bremen has also been tied with Finnbogasson which hopefully is not another Avdic -like flop.
