Maybe? At a club called Fjolnir? That might be what this says:

Fjölnir hefur gert tveggja ára samning við Pablo Punyed en hann hefur æft með félaginu að undanförnu.

    http://www.fotbolti.net/fullStory.php?id=122393

But I can't make heads or tails of that article. Heck, it might as well be Icelandic.

Pablo Oshan Battuto Punyed is a '90 from Florida who played at St. John's and for YNTs.

Spanish version that is a bit easier to follow. He signed early this month with the 2nd division Icelandic side Fjölnir FC.

If he ever becomes a really good player he will have NT options aplenty - Salvadoran dad, Nicaraguan mom, born in Miami, has a Spanish passport. Of couse 2nd tier of Iceland not going to get many call-ups

Apparently he was considered for the El Salvador Olympic qualifying team, or at least spent some time in a camp for them.

Yeah, El Salvador is very proactive about getting young, dual-nationals into their NT system.

Pablo stepped up a division and joined Fylkir of the top tier in Iceland. He started their first 4 matches of the season before suffering some sort of injury. (ankle?)

Despite being comfortably midtable for a number of years Fylkir is in danger of relegation this season with just under half of the season left to play. Pablo should be back in action before the season is over.

Then there is this from his twitter:

Based on a retweet by the man himself, looks like Punyed will be in preseason camp with Sporting KC.

From Iceland to SKC. Great move for his career if he can stick.

Hopefully he has better luck in his KC trial than Geoff Miles did.

You guys may remember Stjarnan, they were the club who became famous on youtube (and Sportscenter) for their elaborate goal celebrations. Remember these?

Lol, those are great, but some of those highlights make MLS look like Champion's League compared to Iceland.o_O

I often find that camera angles and closeness have a lot to do with the perception in quality of play. The closer the camera, the more amateurish it looks, I think it's psychological.

This level is probably somewhere around USL...

which I guess could make the best MLS teams look like Real Madrid.

By the way Stjarnan is having a great run of form right now. They are 2nd in Iceland, with Punyed having played 11 of the 12 games in the domestic league so far this season (7 starts). In addition, he started all 4 of their Europa League qualifying games so far, going 390 (yes 390) minutes, as they won the first round with two 4-0 wins over Bangor City FC, and won the second round matchup over Motherwell with a 2-2 draw away and a 3-2 extra time win at home.

They are playing Lech Poznan in the 3rd Qualifying Round.

Nice. Beating Motherwell I think you'd have to call an upset. Some time in the shop window in front of clubs from bigger leagues, at the very least.

Yeah, I'm sure all the scouts were tuning in to the Stjarnan-Motherwell game. ;)

It's a great achievement for Punyed, Stjarnan, and Iceland. FH (home of YA Sean Reynolds) also advanced to the next round after beating a Belarusian club.

Well we know the staff at Motherwell was watching him and we know the staff at Lech Poznan will be watching him soon. Either would represent a step up. Evidently, Motherwell might find some bargains on the Icelandic squad that beat them.

Lech Poznan will be Stjarnan's most difficult opponent yet, considering that the Polish team is much better than Icelandic league (as well as the Scottish & Welsh leagues for that matter), but the fact that Stjarnan were able to defeat Motherwell indicates they have a chance against Lech!

Punyed's been getting a lot of attention just for playing in the Europa League and having defeated 2 teams thus far, so I just really hope that he can move to a better league.
