PJH's Basel playing a friendly against Dortmund at 6:30 this evening, so in about 3 hours. The match is being broadcasted and I will try to post a link up shortly before the match.

Nope. PJH won't play. He hasn't been present for a week now.

I know someone who works for FCB and he told me that Basel is getting tired of PJH. He's been talking with representatives and showing his discomfort. Last winter he told them he wanted to change the club and they weren't ready to let him go. And this summer it happened again. So now with Safari (and Kay) they have enough back-up in case PJH actually succeeds in changing clubs. The problem for FCB now is that because of his lacking appearance and injuries, there aren't any clubs which show any kind of interest or have sufficient loose change to finance his transfer. That said, FCB is know as a pain when it comes to transfer costs (e.g. Dragovic).
But then again that's just talk between acquaintances. Toodles~

So you're saying he's been wanting out of FCB for a while but the club wasn't ready to let him go?

I dont see why he would want to move... he gets enough playing time and also gets to play in the champions league

Also he only really got injured in the late part of the season. If that was enough to deter interest...

Like takeuchi just posted, the trainer doesn't favour him at all. And the president trusts the coach's decision above any other. Not to forget that during the end of last season he almost played every second game. Is that really good? Though if I think of it, PJH has to do military service sooner or later. wow. That makes him even more attractive in the market......

To Wolfsburg's credit, they've seem what koo did during two loan spells at Augsburg. When koo first joined the team, he was little green, now with some experience and goals to his name, I feel Wolfsburg now get give koo another try. But I read on the koo and Ji's thread and others were mentioning spieler name Diego is gonna in the mix with koo for the starting lineup. Don't know what's going to happen there. So I'll wait to see what kind of plans Wolfsburg have in store for koo.

They loved what he did as an attacking midfielder at FCA so much that they're putting him back to DM.

Looking very good for him. His competitors are Malik Fathi, who spent last season away at Munchen 1860, and Junior Diaz, who found himself behind Zabavnik in the LB pecking order towards the end of the season. Zabavnik left the club to Sandhausen.

Also, his contract is two years long, with the additional option by the club for two extra years. But this will depend on his military issue. If it is not sorted out by then, the next two seasons should be his last stint in Europe.

Um, a bit confused by quote as I was referring to KJC but you've summarized PJH and kicker article just fine.
