Look This is my whole analysis on this,
First of all Ochoa has more international lets call it leadership and personality, I like him better than Corona and I do love Corona (BTW Orozco over Talavera)
Mier has to stay at left back, he is raw there but if he sticks to it he will be a great asset in the future, Reyes and Moreno in the middle (end the Maza thing please) and Torres Nilo Right Back (Will be in Europe in a couple of Weeks) Midfield we need to get used to Herrera and Zavala. (Zavala Is Underrated, Let them play a whole year together and will get some chemistry going. Right Midfield Guardado and Left Midfield GIO, He will play less defense but its just strategy, you get Mier to stay put and Reyes to do more relays to help Mier, and Gio is going to shine there especially if there is two forwards playing of fronts and leaving Gio constantly in one on ones. Up front, Chicharito always with the last man giving them headaches and Vela very loose because of Chicharitos Mobility. Stick to that starting 11 for a year and It will pay dividends.

I really doubt any of the Monterrey players will leave, the only one I see is Tecatito and only if it is true that he is going for free.

The monterrey players rumors sounds more like postering for that alleged draft de seleccionados.

    Or did I miss it?

Mexico played 4-3-3 in the second half against Japan and produced their best football in the Confeds

It wasn't for too long though. He went to his 4-4-2 like always

It was a 4-4-2, but in the second half Guardado tucked in to become a LCM, which is his best position. So in attack we looked more like this, with Gio getting a more free role, popping up all over the field

    -------------Reyes---------------Moreno------------

    ----Mier-----------Torrado------------------

    -----------Zavala------------Guardado----------
    -Gio----------------------------------------Nilo--
    --------------------Jimenez-------------------
    -------------------Chicharo--------------------

Mexico has been knocked out of the Confederations Cup; therefore Hector Herrera will soon travel to Porto to complete his medical & sign.

Everyone but Torrado, Aquino, and Herrera returned to Mexico today. Could Furcio be on his way to Portugal?

Yes on his way for medical and official signing, this was reported on ESPND.

Aquino, probably started vacation. Torrado, hopefully they just left him over there.

I was in the stadium. It was 4-3-3 all the way. In fact, even with the 2-0, Mexico kept on attacking with 5 or 6 players, which annoyed the hell out of me because they were being too careless.

Great player still very young but with a lot of upswing. Excellent shot as you can see from the the u-20 and u-17 world cups.

If Espericuetta meets his highest potential, i see him as a hybrid of Jona and current Guardado. Essentially a severely left footed distributor, that specializes in set piece delivery. Thats IF he ever reaches his potential, needs to start getting first division minutes asap. Pinche Tuca
