That was the old BSG scarf from last year. I'm not sure if there are any of those leftover or not. Ask at the Three Lions or the British Bulldog to see if they still have it. The only place to check is the merch table at the C38 tailgate, as they still have some old stuff their offloading.
Informal drinking meet-up with traveling Dallas fans. https://www.facebook.com/events/459636650793561/?ref=2 9pm Tonight @ the British Bulldog. Anyone is welcome to drop by.
Who performed/recorded the "plugged-in" version of the Sputnik Slovenia rendition of "Country Roads"? Like it.
Not sure if my eyes deceived me, but I could swear I saw a C38 banner in the AO section in Kingston tonight? Nothing but respect from my easy chair!
Saw this banner during the post game portion of last night's qualifier in Seattle! Thanks for representing!
I thought that too but then realized he didn't have an image of it from Seattle but did see it there and the re-post of the Jamaica photo was just by way of reference to which banner? And not somehow related to something Faux News (or MSNBC if you lean that way) would do. ;>)
It's the same banner. In the brief shot of the crowd in Seattle it really stood out despite being surrounded by other fans and their outfits and banners.
Timbers viewing party in Denver is at the Celtic today. If you're in Colo Springs, head down to McCabe's Tavern. The Boulder crew will be at Baker St. Pub. Fun starts at 5.
Their are handfuls of people that do park kick-arounds during the summer. Pretty much all of our BBQ energy is spent at the tailgates. You should drop on by tonight if you're feelin' it.
no money to attend the game and i live 30 minutes away. i never see organized bbq's or friendly footballs i promise im not as arrogant in real life
Centennial 38 is organizing the Rapids road trip for Portland. http://home.c38sg.com/away-matches/portland-timbers-road-trip/?lang=en You can reserve tickets in the away section, and also have the option of reserving a hotel room at our special group rate.
Is there a reserve match in Kansas City? If so day, time, location? Also F.Y.I. there is a very big Irish Festival near downtown on Friday - Monday: http://www.kcirishfest.com/ On edit, KC's coach Peter Vermes is getting under a lot of people's skin with his touchline antics and his apparent immunity to being tossed. I can't say I've seen a lot of their matches but when I have he has been out of control more than 'normal' MLS coaches and does seem to get away with it. If you read the main MLS thread at the referee forum it is a recurring topic. At their last match there were apparently some "Sit Down Peter" chants from opposition fans. With a bye week to work on it can we top that with something more pointed?
So I clicked on the link but I don't see an option to purchase the game tickets. Am I missing something?
Yeah, I just noticed that. One of our website guys derped and forgot to put the link up. We'll get it up shortly.
