Mine is a big fan of nonfiction biographies...no seriously, I'll be rolling past the 150,000 mark sometime in the next 2-3 days. For an 11 year-old with decent mileage, she still runs well and looks great.

2001 Ford Focus: Around 124,000 give or take.

    2003 Ford Escape: 67,000'ish.

Despite them being Fords....they are still running strong.

The following is the absolute truth:

On the date 6/6/06, my odometer read 66666.6.

I'm still kicking myself for not having my camera with me. That could have been the first step on my road to be the Antichrist. Now I will never amount to anything.

Now 140,033, so my daughter has another 60k to wait :) Given current usage patterns, that'll be mid-2010.

My 2000 Plymouth Neon just hit 230,000 tonight driving home from work.

I've had to put some money into it's maintenance but not that much, still running like a champ.

My 1996 Ford Contour has 113,000 miles. The automatic tranny is just starting to act up (shifting is funny sometimes. Just checked the fluid and it's slightly below the minimum line but well above the 'do not drive' line. Not sure what to do, apparently changing the fluid can do more damage. I might just add some myself.

My BMW finally got to 200k... only three years later than expected! My daughter gave up waiting for it so she bought a car and I made a contribution to it. I now intend to keep the BMW until it becomes unreliable or needs a major major repair.

    '03 Toyota Corolla - 244,447. MPG ranges between 34-38.

Only real repairs have been a cracked exhaust manifold a couple of years ago, and then some body work after sliding into a curb during a snow storm this past winter. Car has been a rock solid commuter car. Hoping for another 100k+ out of it.
