Brad is in goal vs. Chelsea in what is a pretty big game for both clubs. Should Villa win, they guarantee survival, should Chelsea win - they almost surely go to the CL with a superior GD... hoping big Brad can do Clint and Spurs a favor and win this.... I eight to think about what happened last time these two clubs met..

Guzan and Lichaj (!) start. I thought the game would start at 8:00am ET, but apparently they really meant 7:45 this time around.

    Villa lead 1 - 0.

HUGE save from Guzan to deny Lampard on a free kick that penetrates through the wall.

Second Yellow Card for Ramires. Repeated offenses involving dangerous play. He is sent off.

HT 1 - 0 Villa. Chelsea also a man down. This is a solid opportunity to get a win. Guzan and Lichaj have both been good.

Lichaj has looked solid defensively and has also whipped in a few good crosses.

In my non-biased opinion, Lichaj has done well and will likely start next weekend as well. No point risking Lowton in the last match of the season.

    Lichaj is playing well.

Benteke was very stupid to raise his foot like he did, but it's embarrassing to watch a supposedly tough guy Terry rolling around after getting brushed on the chest.

Did he even touch Terry? I couldn't tell from first view. It looked like Terry was barely touched and he went down like he was shot.

Well I guess a tie would have been good, too bad it's not happening.

    Lampard gets another goal.

Eh Lichaj got sucked in there and was late getting to the cross that just got Chelsea the 3 points.

Spurs need Wigan to make a stand against Arsenal.

    Barely if at all.

Lichaj got beat on that give and go. Villa played really well, they were in control and the Benteke red changed the game. Hopefully Arsenal can get at least point at home against Wigan to guarantee Villa's safety.
