FC Edmonton has had snow removal started today in preparation of the 3000 new seats finally being installed. From twitter : A sunny day and the snow is being moved for our new stands at Clarke Stadium!
On their website http://www.fcedmonton.com/Proposed_Stadium.htm Shit if they could just get the lower bowl built it would be a great accomplishment.
That lower bowl would be fantastic for a NASL team. I'm guessing it would cover the capacity requirements alone. I hope all NASL teams that build their own SSS are doing plans for bigger than what they need/league requirements with an eye towards building the first part with easy expansion later on.

Correct, and its snowing today and will be -5 tonight! Good news is winter weather will be over tomorrow and there should be no subzero temps and warmer weather starting Wednesday.

Yes 3K for tomorrows game plus standing room. 5K with standing room(4200 seats total) includes 2 new bleacher GA overflow sections in one endzone not seen in the picture, in the corners behind the goal line which won't be completed for Sunday's game but will be ready for the next home game. So 3000 seats available for tomorrow's game and the full 5K the game after.
