I believe you Barca guys know Dr. Fuentes. ;-) --------------- Denver (even b4 the injuried), memphis, Indiana, NY, The clippers, are pretenders. Better yet, playoff fillers
Copeland has somehow become key for the Knicks. He hit 20 yesterday vs. the Pacers and he's averaged 15 points in his last 5 games.
Wow - didn't realize he was 29 - that guy has looked really good. In the last 5 games he's averaging 15 points, shooting 500 from the field and from the 3, and been a big hustle player. He's really brought some energy to the aging Knicks lineup.
When are Chandler and Camby back? Taj and Noah allegedly are back for the Bulls next week. They'd better be, otherwise it will be one-series ride.
Too bad the injury and just the fact that the Lakers gets all of the attention that Curry does not get noticed in his performace. The only time I seen him like this is when he got caught banging that fugly colorado chick. I saw the game and the post interview yesterday, and it was sad. He could be thinking about hanging it up and career threatening. Not contending there something fishy going on, but the big teams, talented players, and home teams generally gets the calls. I saw nothing extraordinary. Because of all of the number 8 seeded teams in perhaps in my memory, this is the most (individual) talented and one of the most expensive teams to have a remote chance of even making to the finals. Now, I am not contending that they would make it to the finals, but they actually have a chance and everyone is curious to how they do.. and want to see us fail miserably also. I dunno man. Isiah Thomas and never returned. Fact is that Kobe was playing as if he was a young 20 year old but just slower. Great season. I think he will return only because he loves this game too much, but he no where even close to where he was. The injury to some is considered a tommy john type of injury, and while they can return, but just never the same. No effin excuse. D12. Prove to the fans, the owners, and all the haters that got what it takes to take over the reign after Kobe. I honestly believe he loves basketball more than his kids. He def loves basketball more than his wife. Btw, she was hot when she was young, but the plastic surgery and age just caught up to her. Still I like milfs and I hit it. I hope Kobe gets another ring. I would be happy even if he joined a super mega team in Miami or an established title contending team like the Bulls. I would miss him sorely. Basketball and the Lakers are a business, and Kobe and the org needs to look out for self interest. Whether with the Bulls or the Lakers, I would love to keep him on the cheap for keeping that competitive, leadership, and winning role model mentality. With that said, we are digging some interest with Lebron should we amnesty Kobe. Dude, homeboy even took some free throws and then walked off court. Funny picture.
Has there been a more exciting ending to a regular season? For West Coast fans at least. Here's all the scenarios, the Blazers/Clippers game tonight being the first domino... http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2013/04/16/playoff-scenarios-who-can-end-up-where/?ls=iref:nbahpt3b
Carmelo tearing it up and no one really cares Tracy McGrady signs up with the Spurs. I was wondering why Jackson was let go especially with a thin squad.
This is like them crazy relegation battles in soccer on the final day. I know basketball would not do this, but I wished they all played at the same time and then let there be suspense at the end, just like how it Man City took the title last year
They kind of are, except for the three west coast games (Rockets/Lakers, Clippers/Kings, Warriors/Blazers) all the other games are 8pm EST.
Meh I am generally a Western Conference fan. The games that matter to the west are not in the same. I would hate for Lakers to ease off and be complacent when they know if the Jazz had already lost.
True, they will know by tipoff if they are in the playoffs already. But beating the Rockets gets you San Antonio and not OKC. Sincerely, World's Biggest Lakers Fan* *expires in 24 hours
This may be difficult for LeBron-haters to look at: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/MVP-2013/2012-13-most-valuable-player
I am on the road. I just got a text saying the Jazz lost. We in the playoffs! So serious question- any ref conspiracy in that Jazz game?
Curry has the single season three point makes record, 16 point lead for the Warriors at the half. So far so good.
Is it just me or do all four of the first round match-ups in the West look tasty? Oklahoma City vs. Houston San Antonio vs. Lakers Denver vs. Golden State L.A. Clippers vs. Memphis
