Boozer would be pretty good if he scored more efficiently. He is a great defensive rebounder, that makes up for a lot of his defense. But he's not really that great at scoring, that's a bit of mirage. He just chucks up a lot of shots.

Which the Bulls need right now, because otherwise it would only be Nate Robinson shooting.

Anyway, I don't think the Nets are looking forward to the Bulls in the first round. Bulls beat them without Kirk, lost a tight one without Noah and Boozer, beat them again, and then beat them a third time without Noah. And lemme tell ya, it's not good to lose twice to a team that starts Nazr Mohammed.

You're probably right in that sense but Amare has a massive contract and was the first big name player the Knicks got after the mess of the Isiah Thomas coach era.

I don't know if he'd be willing to be a bench player or if the magement would want that.

The Heat clinch HCA throughout the playoffs.

The Bulls are official 'streak-killers' now.

Ended the Bobcats 18-game losing streak too. :(

Also, they would have ended the Nuggets streak at 15 games or whatever if the refs haven't broken the rules to review Noah's basket interference with 1 second left, when they didn't call it and aren't allowed to review noncalls. Oh well.

I feel bad for Derrick Rose. I really enjoyed him play and he was so dominant when he won the MVP. Sad that injuries have screwed him up. The NBA suffers overall without him playing.

I wish Rose would play these last few games at 50%, then come out 100% for the playoffs. Come on, nobody wants the Heat and the Thunder to waltz to the Finals.

The sooner Rose can get back, the sooner he can start rehabilitating his other knee. I can't really defend Rose, but I will say Chicago didn't do him any favors if they made public that he's been cleared since February. They should have worked with him as their star player to get on the same page to say somethings still not right.

I know I'm in the minority, but I give Derrick the benefit of the doubt. As the recent statement from Landon attested to, we as sports fans have no patience for the mental and emotional recovery that comes with various life events, including serious injury. I would love for him to have started playing two months ago, if for nothing else, because I had started to hype his return with my 5 year-old niece who has become obsessed with DRose. But I think he deserves the right to control his own career. He's the one who jeopardizes his physical safety every time he drives to the basket. I would feel a bit presumptious to tell him when he should be ready to resume that risk.

It is what it is. With the rest of the Bulls healthy, the team will need a miracle to get by Heat but can stand up to anybody else in the East. There are worse positions to be in entering the playoffs.

I can't think of another superstar-level player who will have missed two playoff years, except for Bill Walton. Probably there are others. It's not common.

I personally think "not mentally ready" is a totally bullsh*t excuse, but my point is that they should never have told that story. The Bulls should have just said there are "complications" and let that be it. I know friends who have blown out ACLs and they are never mentally ready to play. You're getting paid a ton of money to perform - if doctor's say you are ready, who are you to say otherwise? I really don't buy it. Will waiting reduce the chance of another tear? I'm pretty dubious about that.

It's remarkable that the Bulls are a 5-seed without Rose.

This is disgraceful. No offensive foul against the Lakers with less than 10 seconds left. 50 freethrows.

It's obvious the NBA wants the Lakers in the playoffs. The funny thing is that it's all for naught. OKC is licking their lips right now.

It looks like Kobe has a torn achilles. Crappy way for him to go out.

I feel bad for Kobe. Having said that, the NBA is disgusting, the most corrupt league I've seen. And I thought soccer was corrupt. I'm sick of NBA refs I'm boycotting.

I actually applauded for Kobe tonight. I feel dirty.

What a game. Steph almost put the nail in the Lakers season. Maybe this generation.

I hate the Lakers, and I hate how the refs blatantly help them, and I was hoping to see Kobe blow up when they missed the playoffs, but I never wanted to see this. This thing about Kobe is very sad.

You hate the Lakers too? :).The refs gave the Lakers that win. How many FT's were the Lakers given?

I feel quite bad about Kobe as well.
