Do we dare to dream of a future where Aulas is home playing PlayStation while ASSE are in the Champions League?

Wont happen even if they finish 3rd because they will probably sell important players and get beat in one of the 2 qualifying rounds because they will will be matched against tough opponents because they have a low UEFA ranking.

Jean Fernandez will be the new coach of Montpellier. This is what French teams with no ambition do they hire retreads. It makes the Diego Maradona rumors seem laughable now. Never believed that one for a seceond. When in doubt always go for the cheap French guy.

i thought maradona as a coach was laughable to begin with. even fournier or metsu would be better than him.

Well I was thinking more in terms of how much he would cost. No way the fat man would meet his salary demands.

Jérémie Aliadière is not overrated he's a pretty damm good striker i think he can play for our French national team even at 30 years of age
i know alot of people on this Board thinks he's a journeyman or some kind of EPL reject? he was a amazing CV "elite Clairefontaine academy Premier League/Arsenal, ,Middlesbrough etc...what mess him up was his injuries in the past

Didnt psg's club president fancy the idea of Blanc?
Blanc would bring some stability something ancelloti isnt really good at however I still think Blanc should go outside of france and get some more experience

It's been a few days that Blanc and his agent, Bernes have started communicating over his desire to come back to coaching. I'm under the impression that it's more Blanc who wants to coach either Monaco or PSG than these clubs that expressed their interest in him. We all know how how the world of journalism works : in exchange of a paper talking about the interest of a player coach the agent wants some publicity of, he'll will later on give these journalists informations during the transfer window. The best example is the article in Le Parisien yesterday. Make it less obvious next time, Bernes. He's losing market share because of PSG and probably Monaco. :( We aren't talking much about it but the arrival of Qatar at PSG also had an influence in the agents' world. The french market was rather "isolated", hard to penetrate and since that Raoila sold some players to PSG (VDW, Maxwell and Ibra) he gained importance in France, he penetrated the market. For example, he signed Capoue, is about or has already (I forgot) signed Matuidi (he was with Bernes before). It's the same with Mendes who could see his interest in selling some of his players to Monaco or Paris to penetrate the french market. It seems that he wants to sign Cabella.

Congrats to the PSG fans!!! I have kind of a soft spot for them since I always used to play as them or Real Madrid on FIFA 03 growing up. I always liked their logo too.

Ligue 1 is a great ligue. I have been following the youtube channel (in English) and it is sublime. Whomever does it, should get a raise. Its a phenominal way to promote the league and I really enjoy seeing highlights from all matches and their various other things (zapping in particular)

That Bordeaux kit is sweet by the way!!! They should have a better shirt sponsor than KIA though

PSG was the best team and deserved to win but they did stumble a lot and they benefited from OM and OL being financially strapped. We need UEFA points badly in order to pass Portugal again and in order to do that we need OL to finish 3rd. Nice hasnt been in Europe in so long so due to their low UEFA ranking they will draw a tough opponent and probably lose. Lille we want them as far away from the Champions League as possible. They have a new stadium and they are still complaining about financial problems. I dont like that club anymore.

He spent 20 minutes for the drug test after the match while the rest of the team was celebrating, that's the reason why he was rightfully angry. How is it related to money ?
