This game really means nothing...with Chelsea on Monday and players coming off of international duty, won't be upset to see a lesser squad out there
http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/matches/2012-2013/epl.html/sunderland-vs-man-utd says: "Nani (hamstring), Phil Jones (ankle) and Paul Scholes (knee) have recovered from their knocks and could be involved at the Stadium of Light. Javier Hernandez and Antonio Valencia are likely to be excused because of their lengthy travels during the international break."
Fletcher, Cattermole and Sessengon(doubtful) may all miss the game for Sunderland. Anyone know what our front four will look like?? I am thinking: Nani - Welbeck - Young RVP
CONFIRMED MUFC XI: de Gea Rafael Smalling Vidic Buttner Valencia Carrick Anderson Young Kagawa van Persie SUBS: Lindegaard, Evans, Evra, Powell, Cleverley Nani, Welbeck.
Good strong lineup. No Rooney, Chicharito, Rio, Giggs, Scholes or Jones in the travelling squad. Vermijl also travelled with the team.
I'm not too confident about this lineup with Valencia being there but after two good international performances (regardless of the opponents) his confidence is probably high and hopefully he actually plays good for once this season.
******** me completely forgot this was on (as in had been planning to watch it all day and have just zoned out totally infront of the computer for a while). new medication has hit me for 6. Glad to see Nani on the bench and hopefully on his way to full fitness
I must say I hate Valencia more than Young. Young I would like to not be in the team but I don't actively hate every him every time he touches the ball like Valencia
