Panama will be facing the USA in a friendly on January 25th in Panama City, Panama. Should be an interesting match and good way to start out the year getting ready for WCQ.

En cual canal sera transmitido el partido de la Sub23 de Uruguay y Panama del proximo domingo? Gracias. Will the game against Uruguay be broadcast on TV? If so, what channel and when?
Portugal 2:0 Panama. http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/news/newsid=1685820/index.html is titled "Penedo: Panama dreams of 2014."
The one who I believe to be Panama's next striker, Rolando Blackburn, proved me right last night, with a wonderful header off a Cooper corner, and then celebrating the score with his idol, Luis "matador" Tejada, who didn't play. and Blas, what can I say, scoring one for his daddy, after Negrito made a nice run into the box. Panama 2 - 0 Canada Group leader with 2 games left
Roberto Nurse hopes for a call up http://msn.mediotiempo.com/futbol/mexico/noticias/2012/09/27/nos-tenian-menospreciados-nurse

Panama vs Cuba, Gold Cup QuarterFinals Saturday July 20 6pm (but most likely CONCACAF will switch us to 3pm, and MEX game to 6pm, to satisfy TV ratings/$$) Georgia Dome, Atlanta Panas will be seated in 106, 107 & 108.. (right now most 106 & 107 is half filled with panas) I, along with my band of road warriors, will be in attendance, driving down from New Jersey. Panama, #1 in Group A. Coach Dely has finally decided to start Gaby Torres, and the leading goalscorer of Venezuela's 1st Div. has proved him right. I see Alberto Quintero as the main catalyst in our 2 wins though, neither MEX or Martinique could stop/slow him down, so much that Martinique resorted to physical abuse (lol). 3rd game of group stage, vs Canada, was mostly played by the bench players. The loss of Rolando Escobar (seems he decided to go to Disney and was late to 1st practice before game 1) has not hurt us (yet), due to Quintero's great play. the duo of MF marcos sanchez, and CB Carlos Rodriguez, have finally seem to woken up, considering their poor play the last 2 WCQ games, especially Rodriguez. We hope Sanchez keeps it up, as we need him, considering it's only him and Quintero at MF (jairo is talent, but he's still young and tends to go head strong to goal, and tends not to pass, considering he's a MF). that's it for now... let's go PTY, 507....let's send Cuba home con un saco de goles!!!!
bueno, pedi saco de goles, y resulto asi. I liked that the team scored but kept on attacking. Usually we'd score a couple then go into a defensive shell. Next up is Mexico Part 2, let's see if we can repeat the Pasadena Surprise.
Chicago info. Panama section is 444 ($39 + taxes) and 101 ($89 + taxes). We're still setting up the tailgate, but it's looking like the South Lot or the upperdeck of the Waldron lot. If any pana lives in chicago or knows any that live in Chicago, please spread the word, and/or have them contact me at julio.mcfarquhar@gmail.com Would love to have a local, so we can better organize this.
