This is fantastic. What's the time line for when they will switch from taking deposits to actual ticket sales. I would think some time in the fall or maybe winter. Does anyone know?

Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I thought it was mentioned that the next step is to put $75 down on each ticket and to choose where you want to sit based on where you stand in the timeline. I think that was going to happen sometime late summer/early fall.

Thanks, that makes sense. I imagine we're going to see some interesting partnerships with some organizations that will involve ticket sales. I really think we'll San Antonio type ticket numbers in the first season.

Big announcement expected later this week according to twitter on Indy Pro Soccer but it says its not the announcement of the team name. Any speculation?

Peter tweeted that is was about a partnership today. In addition, he toured a potential sponsor's facility on 2/28...maybe a jersey sponsor or team sponsor of some kind???

Great to hear. It is possible the announcement mentioned in an above post is more likely to be the 500 ST sold to the mentioned "youth soccer league".

Not surpised, Peter Wilt is a ninja when it comes to drumming up grassroots support.

Indy Pro Soccer Nears 3,000 Season Ticket Deposits
Indy Pro Soccer announced a partnership with Indiana Champions League today that will increase the new pro soccer team’s season ticket total…

Also announced in the article…Tom Dunmore Named Team Vice-President of Marketing and Operations. Good hire IMO. Tom’s been doing a great job with the website and other things while launching this team with Peter.

Not to get a discussion started in the news thread but I can't help but say that this organization is off to an incredible start. I can't think of more qualified people to get us flying into 2014.
