Maher can pick up some of the slack. He's been out a few games but was back today. He needs to get his sharpness back so that Jozy can get a few more goals and so AZ can sell him to Arsenal for a boatload of money.
A vertical move within the Eredivisie sounds about right. He has proved what he can do when he gets service. That projects well for the PSV's of the world. Netherlands to Germany is also a solid path. I couldn't care less if EPL teams are sniffing around him. He still has room to grow and I don't think many of those clubs are good places to work on your game.
Anybody think he would get time at a club like Schalke, or is that a little out of reach for him? A good Bundesliga side would be a dream from my perspective. Starting to inch close to being in the conversation for best overall league in the world from top to bottom. Schalke, Bayern and Dortmund will likely all be in the final 8 of the CL. Bayer? Hamburg? Frankfurt?
Stuttgart needs someone to put some goals in the net, but I can't see them springing for him. They squeeze Euros so tight, now, they make the eagles shit!
I'd just like to know where Altidore's headed next so we can start talking about where he's headed after that.
Ugh. Get. Him. Out. Of. There. That video was pretty sad.... (as in I think that the team effort was bad and that his service was bad, not that the video itself was bad!)
AZ seem like the Arsenal/Liverpool of Holland. Terribly inconsistent. Early in the season they seem destined for to fight for the title and then periods of outright horrendous play/defending and then they would step up for a game or 2 and then return to bad play ...
Furtwangen, center of the Black Forest clock trade, is actually in Baden, aka Ze Enemies. If my club ever makes it into Europe again, at least we won't be sweating the whole financial fair play thing. No chance of overspending when you don't spend. Schaffe schaffe, Hüßle baue.
Fryslan is also cuckoo for cuckoo clocks - although I don't actually have any idea why, now that I mention it. I'll have to ask someone.
Jozy will have an other coach coming season, as Verbeek is the prime candidate for the vacant FC Twente post. And it is his home town, more or less speaking. That new coach will be Ron Jans, a former Heerenveen coach. You heard it here first.
The moves they made over the last year, with the key injury, really weakened the team considerably. Shame for Jozy, reallly, although he is being put in a position where he really needs to carry this team if they are going to sneak into playoffs. But I don't think he, or they, have it in them.
