Looks pretty good on Pablo in the Shortsleeve version. I think I might end up liking this one. The fact that it's so different in color and design is kind of cool.

Tried uploading a pic I took with my ipad of the screen while Pablo was showing it off. Its too big, not worth it. Either way, the picture up top is WAY better.

I think it will look better on the field. I like that it is certainly "different" and not just the same jersey with the colors switching places or an all white.

On the news cast it looked pretty good on Pablo. Of course it helps to be an ultra fit athlete......... Curious to see what color shorts/socks they will wear. I'm normally not big on white shorts but i could envision white shorts with 3 yellow stripes and the bottom band tipped in blue and red socks. I think put together the whole kit will be very cool and unique looking.

Dallas is red. Our primary kits are burgundy. They are probably too close in color for comfort.

Yeah. Blue socks and white shorts with blue stripes. In my mind that looks like a good kit.

And as far as this goes, our flag existed before their shit tier, copy-cat, team.

You see, this is the problem with the entire state of Utah. They have absolutely no identity of their own. Thats why people make fun of the Mormon thing ad nauseum, because everything else about that place is ridiculously forgettable and boring as oatmeal. Thats also why they steal team names form other places that have no actual connection to where they live.

Look at the Utah Jazz. They couldn't come up with anything unique for their team so they completely ripped everything off from New Orleans (a place that actually has a culture and an identity). They couldn't even be bothered to use a different color scheme...purple, green, and gold are the traditional colors of Mardi Gras.

It's like stealing the Mona Lisa, scratching out Leonardo da Vinci's name, and writing your own name over it in crayons and claiming it as your own.

We're not stealing shit from Utah, because there is nothing to steal.

Hmmmm.....My first impression is that it looks a little clash-y....as though the red/blue/yellow are just too bold to go together well. Or as if there's too much color shoehorned into the design of the jersey itself.

In other words, maybe our state flag is due for a redesign :D

I'll give it a chance; I'm sure it'll grow on me. I want to see how it looks against FCD.

edit: Yeah, I think that pic of Moor makes the shirt look better. I might prefer the short sleeves because there's less flaming yellow.

Yes. also, the article on majorleaguesoccersoccer.com spoke to how we don't have an away jersey any longer. We have a primary that we will wear for all games except when it conflicts when we are away. For example, Red Bull and Galaxy home jerseys are white so we will wear our primary when playing in NY and LA.

Looks like someone needs to update their profile to change their club from the Crew to the Rapids. :D

White strip in the middle, red C, yellow center, with white rather than yellow on the arms.

That jersey would've been sick. And probably been a huge seller around the state.

Not sure why they did it the way they did.

I agree, it could heven been more. I think it will grow on me fast, but I would have rather seen more colors.

I was thinking the exact same thing so I made it quick and dirty to see it:

    And another variation:

Edit: Original badge would be better on 2nd one. Flag on first is kind of redundant.

Disappointed. I'm glad they tried something different but this was a bit of a miss IMO. Short sleeve does look better than long sleeve but generally I'm not impressed. The yellow piping is the killer I think, and they could have done something different with the C.

And yes, it is reminiscent of a couple of FSL kits. Sorry Quinn 33.

That looks awful. I really liked our shield fully shaded:

and now it's just an ugly red silhouette on the jersey. Definitely not a fan. I know it's the alternate jersey, but still.

Yup, that is what I was expecting, but with the C off set. I would have even pushed the adidas logo and crest up a bit so you could raise it all up and put a sponsor under it. I'm sure the reason why it doesn't really look like the flag is because you can't really put a sponsor on that.

yeah, they went so audacious with the blue color and its like they pulled back at the last minute from the Red C, Yellow Dot, and white band of the flag. That would have kicked it over the top in my mind and I would 100% have strapped that on.

It is a bit FSL too.

eh, whatever, I'll buy this one too. It's too obnoxious not to.

It could be better, but I'll probably buy it over this year's home/primary jersey.

100% better. Throw on the standard badge instead of the red/blue thing and you've got a awesome jersey.
