Yeah, now in Canada we've got (at a professional level):

    FCE: Black/Black/Black + Blue
    IMFC: Blue/Blue/Blue + White
    TFC: Red/Red/Red + Dark Grey
    VWFC: White/White/White + Dark Blue

So everyone has their own identity. Here's hoping when Ottawa joins the NASL they go with something other then monochrome, though. Red/White/Black or something.

So its Clarke Stadium with 3000 new seats in addition to the approximately 1000 seats there already. Sounds perfect for this season and the NASL, hopefully they can draw at least 3000 per game average(Last year average was around 2000 I think). Should make for a good atmosphere and an improved turf, only 1 set of lines, and a wider field will help the quality of play - no more Foote Field pachinko!

If anyone here was at the press con, were there any mock up drawings of the stadium config? Just wondering where and how the seats will be configured.

Perfect - thanks, but which side has the existing grandstand on it?

More pictures of the jerseys from an article on the11.ca. I posted a link to it in the 2012 NASL news thread already.

I would love to see everyone wear their primary kits for the ACC. With that being said, I also think they'll go for a red/black look like all of the other sports teams but I hold out hope that they'll go off the board and go green or something.

There is now a place holder on the NASL site for Ottawa. It's a red leaf with black outline and white lettering. Looks like they will be going with the flow as far as Ottawa sporting colours.

Are you talking about the Ottawa Fury's site?

Hopefully the paperwork will be ok'd by the City soon, but for this Sundays game the team is adding 600 temporary seats because of demand for tickets. Should be over 2000 at the game with a few hundred being standing room.

Excellent! FCE increasing their attendance substantially would be great. I hope they pull this off. 5K seats is a nice start, but in the long run, they'll need at least a 10K to 12K seat stadium. Good luck!

My opinions from the Nasl news thread:

Yep it does seem like a make or break year for FCE. I just don't see them getting much city or provincial funds with Katz and the Oilers situation. The council member even brought up the use of funds for other projects in the city. What seems to be the cheapest option? Renovating Clarke or that baseball stadium? If you have renovate Clarke please get rid of the football lines and all that business. Baseball stadium has its benefits because of the lack of activity there and FCE can improve that "dead" space of an empty stadium. Brand new stadium is the greatest option but it is contingent on amazing fan support this season, Fath's money and city funds. Either way Ill support them from afar by buying hear. Good luck FCE and their fans.

Telus Field is a nice baseball stadium but the best option is renovating Clarke Stadium. They did mention apparently in the city council meeting this week about replacing the turf soon so going to a setup with temp lines for soccer and american football is hopefully going to happen.

Although some are saying they need to sell out to show a SSS is viable I think they will be happy to bring avg attendance up to 3000 per game this year. That would be an increase over the 1800 they avg'd in 2011 at Foote Field and the 1500 last year in 1200 seat Clarke Stadium. The new setup has 4200 seats and 800 standing room apparently.

Has there been any talk of buying Clarke outright?

No. They do have a good deal for rent($80 per game I think), and FCE Owner Tom Fath is paying for the extra seats and hoping if/when a SSS is built the seats will be taken to the new stadium.
