We do what we can. Beat them a few days ago, let's do it again.

For some reason I'm always nervous when United play on those narrow pitches.

It would hurt us a great deal more if we were playing with two wingers. As these days it is rare that we start with one, I'm not that worried.

Personnel for this may be tricky. Most are fit and we have 8 days off after this so no real reason not to play our best xi.

I'm betting Wayne, Nani, RvP and Kagawa to start. Carrick and Cleverley in midfield but it could just as easily be Scholes. We might also see Clevs or Welbeck if we elect for the diamond.

I'm guessing we'll see the first choice back 5 though.

    1. Fergie's first choice. Left to me, Evans is 1A with Rio, Vida and Smalling 1B and used based on form, fitness and who we are playing.

    2. It was a joke. Laugh.

    Ah OK.

I'm sure Vidic can do well in the right setup but outside of that and certain occasions(Stoke away..) he really should not be starting.

    I know, duncy.

so last game was the first game since the end of November (10 games) that van Persie didn't come up with a goal and/or assist. fantastic.

expect him to back at it this game. 1-3. RvP, Welbeck, Nani

I would love to see Danny score. You have to feel if he gets one, the floodgates might just open.

I think we will see Nani, but from there I am not sure. Rooney has played two matches in a week. If he starts, that would make three straight, so I think we will see Cheech instead. RVP will probably start, with possibly Kagawa or Danny on the wing Nani isn't on.

I suppose Cheech deserves some pt but Rooney off the bench isn't as effective. It is a toss up I guess but I'm not worried. I think with their injuries we should be ok.

Cheech not even being on the bench midweek makes me think he as to play a part here, but we shall see. When Rooney is scoring, SAF doesn't like to sit him.

He is clearly attempting to catch that. His hand is open.

Rooney and his "play into shape" nonsense means he has to go, especially as he's getting them in. Rooney and Cheech is fine with me. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Fergie starts all 3 strikers and uses Welbeck and Giggs to spell them.
