It felt like long time since Ittihad has been in such a mess, I'm not complaining though. :D

Let's make a (late) prediction on who's gonna be the champion this season, and more interestingly what rank AlFateh will finish at when the league is over.

Hilal for the 1st, Fateh probably the 3rd.

I think Fateh fate lies in January transfer window. If they dont sell any of their players they will flourish can be the champions too.

In my opinion, even if they keep all/essential players until the end of the season they will struggle to win the league, I think they will lose the key matches (i.e. against Hilal) which could be a huge blow for them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really glad they had the lead for almost 1/2 the season, and I'll be even happier to see them rewarded with the league trophy, but I just think Hilal & Shabab will be back to winning easy matches and be in better shape for the harder ones, that includes their games v.s. Fateh.
I hope it doesn't happen though.

Very tense and tight game between Ittihad and Hilal ... it is 0-0 at Half Time but Ittihad really had 3 great chances as compared to Hilal's 2 chances that were not that close.

    FT- Ittihad 1-2 Hilal
Ittihad have formally lost the league. They can now play to atleast get third which also seems diffucult now to play in next years ACL. No complains. Key players are missing. Andre Souza is no where to be seen after the contract talks collapsed along with Fouzi Abdel Ghani injured. Noor not giving his 100%.
I dont know where is Ahmed Boabed and Rashed Raheeb. Ahmed Fraidy playing in WAFF Cup..
All credit goes to AFC Champions League.

Alfateh continues its outstanding campaign and regained the lead by defeating Alhilal 2-1, thoroughly deserved .
They have 36 points now while still having a game in hand, if they won it the gap will be 4 points.

    Back to League -
    Ahli 2-1 Nasser
    Fateh 3-1 Raed
    Faysaly 0-2 Ittihad
    Shabab 3-1 Wehda
    Najran 1-2 Sholah
    Nasser 3-2 Tawoon
    Hajer 1-4 Ahli
    Ittifaq 2-2 Hilal

And now Fateh can widen the gap when and virtually seal the league but have two stiff test ahead when they take on Ahli and Shabab in the consecutive matches.

Fateh failed to widen the gap. 4 points. Hilal meets nasser next ..If Nasser playing in current form they might atleast hold Hilal and give Fateh one more chance but its against Shabab..Crucial week for both the teams..

Fateh also have to play against Ittihad, Faisaly (local derby), Ahli and Ettifaq apart from Shabab.
Hilal have to play against Shabab, Ittihad and Ahli apart from Nasser so, if Fateh lose any points against 2 big team (provided that Hilal wins all remaining matches) then it will be Hilal on top / securing the league.

Getting 1 point did widen the gap. With 9 games remaining, if Hilal were to win the league, they really need 7/8 victories, if thsi was to happen then they would be deserved winners. Are they need Fateh to self implode. Fateh will feel pressure no doubt, but the next 5 games will show what they are about.

I officially declare today (even though 8 games are remaining for Al Hilal) that Al Fateh are going to be champions of this year's Saudi League... And Al Fateh will not lose more than 2 games (if they lose any).

    Well..

    http://uk.soccerway.com/national/saudi-arabia/pro-league/20122013/regular-season/

The leader has been defeated at last. Feteh 1-2 Shabab.
I didn't watch the the game so I can't comment on it. But Fateh is still leading by 4-points.
If they won the next 2 rounds against Taawon (H) and Najran (A) they can be in a very comfortable position, considerng that their closest rivals Hilal and Shabab are to face each other on February 21st.

A very poor Hilal performance against Al Shabab. Why on earth did the coach sub Wesley for Boo? In a fast performance and physical game- Wesley would definitely be vital. Al Shabab capitalized and striked the net twice in about 5 minutes to grab the lead. Shalhoub scored the equalizer from a set piece but the celebrations were quickly responded bach by Mohanad. Hilal desperately need to improve and extend the distance, or will have difficulties focusing on the ACL games.
The last 15 minutes of the game were very exciting. Congratulation Shababis- a very deserved win

Its clear now Hilal depends on its some players...As long as Daeya was there they won titles and now Hawsawi departs they have started losing again..

No reliable DM and CM anymore, combine that with a shaky defense line and you get what Alhilal offers this season.
Alfuriadi was a very good option to play in CM, a creative player with an adequate interception skills is a valuable asset. Now this midfield composed of Alqarni & Alfaraj won't get Alhilal to be even close from their expectations in ACL.
    Good for Fateh I guess.

Why dont you Hilal fans accept that your team over relies on the some players..Khalid Aziz gone team sunk, Daeya gone team sunked again and now Hawsawi gone team is in drain.
