You and Minus ask for G10 on the nt but have the balls to call Angel a Pecho frio?

Only reason we almost went to WC 06 was because of Angel. He freed up and took so many defenders with him that he made Tessor Moreno and Gabriel Rey look like good players. Same as Falcao is doing now. Difference is Angel didn't have a supporting striker like Teo, Jackson or basically anyone else on his team that could score.

Now take this sentence that you wrote and put it on our NT. This is exactly why Falcao is doing so well right now, because this NT is way way way better then what we had to offer in the last decade when Angel played. Hell, our key players were Pacheco, Totono, Oviedo, Choronta....Can you really compare them to Guarin, James, Aguilar, Teo, Jackson...Again, I'm not saying that Angel was close to Falcao's form because it's far from truth, but come on, to call him pecho frio?? No way.

I disagree with the bolded statement. Having played so many years for AV after being their highest acquisition, I think he did as well as any player playing for a bottom feeder at the time. He also arrived in his mid-late 20s to Europe. Ask most Villa fans and they'll speak well of Angel's time for Villa (unlike a Rodallega type)

Angel was no flop. At his peak at Villa, he was drawing interest from top clubs and having a big impact for them. His wonderstrikes against Chelsea and Bolton are some of my all time faves.

He is a terrific striker and ws the standard bearer for Colombia in a generation tat didnt create a lot for its strikers...

No doubt regarding his skills in my opinion, when he was at his prime. Stayed too long with a "gray' club like Aston Villa, should have moved from there even if it means to move to another league. Too bad, but for me and every Nacional & River fan he will always be great player. Hopefully he'll retire like Aristi: With a title.
