Nos escapamos jabonados. El clima cancino de La Serena agotó a los africanos en el segundo tiempo.

 

Las cosas por su nombre, el partido fue una pichanga de aquellas ante un equipo amateur. Me preocupa y creo que por el esquema y predilección de jugadores dificilmente se solucionará, es la falta de creatividad. Se prescinde de los jugadores buenos para el fútbol y se prefiere a quienes sean tácticos a los ojos del entrenador.

Malas sensaciones dejó la changa.

 

No se puede sacar mucho del partido por lo mismo, reservo comentarios para el Chile v Egipto.

 

Considerando que era solo un debut, se rescata a Carlos Muñoz, que será uno de los pocos que será considerado en el equipo A.

 

El doble standard de la prensa chilena. A Borghi por empatar con Portugal de visita le dieron con todo; Sampaoli por ganarle a un equipo amateur recibe elogios.

 

Esa era una fecha FIFA y Chile supuestamente tenia a sus mejores figuras... estos son equipos B... o hasta C... la verdad es que no se puede pedir mucho en términos de calidad. En todo caso no me acuerdo de los palos de la prensa que tu dices... para mi estos empezaron a caer en serio después de la derrota contra Venezuela en la Copa America.

Por lo mismo prefiero esperar al partido contra Egypto para cachar en que onda estamos...

 

ya, time will tell how the team will do. even the friendly against Egypt won't be too indicative because of the short time spent with the full squad. the thing is that if we're going to rely on the local guys because of that short time span with the 'foreigners', then we will be in trouble based on what we saw yesterday.

but when it comes to the press i think there can be no doubt that they have almost as big a hard-on for sampaoli as they did for bielsa. they're romanticized by his way of living soccer and he'll benefit from some leway from the press.

i don't doubt that he can do a good job, but its shocking to me that no one in the press that i've read has expressed concern over some of the things that seem obvious grounds for concern: namely, that there is very little prep time and he is known for requiring quite a bit of time to get things working, and the fact that his strength doesn't lie in the weaknesses of the team (defensive), since he takes huge defensive risks

 

I don't know why anyone would mention it. The sky is blue, the grass is green and we have just sacked our coach and hired another one halfway through qualifiers. The press and the public knew the time constraints, the ANFP as well, and they decided to sack Borghi anyway. Here we are. There is little time? Yes, yes there is.

As for the tactical analysis, there is little worry to be had because, I imagine, everyone knows none of these players (perhaps with the exception of Rojas?) will start a game for Chile against Peru and Uruguay.

But most importantly, I think no one is worried too much because we won. Nobody cares about the mistakes when you win. Remember the miracle of the Chilean victory in Bolivia? No one cared too much about all the ridiculous chances Bolivia missed, more than what Senegal created.

Me parece que nunca puso un pie en Europa.

 

Vi el primer tiempo solamente... demasiado comilon Cortez. Pero parece que en el segundo tiempo mejoro.
