    He and the team really bounced back from last weeks bad performance. Hosogai played well. Hes a good defender and he has good composure on the ball, and of course the energy and grit he plays with is unmatched. A good game for him. Played as a sideback.

    Won over 70% of his duels today, actually the best value in that category in this match. I guess they won't repeat the mistake of replacing him with Boenisch for the time being.

    No, I think he is rested by the coach, as his team has already qualified to the knockout round,and the coach fielded many reserves tonight.

    Same for Nagatomo also.
