It was a great season. Pretty much the first time we could've said that in a long time. I loved the way we all pulled together, the spirit in the stands and the way this year seemed to bring more people into the fold where they belong. Better scotch, better results, better nearly everything. The road trip to NJ and singing ourselves hoarse at the game that never happened... that was epic. Last night I think I speak for all when I say that despite its many limitations, I was damned proud of our team. Many of them will never be great players, but at the end of the year I was pleased to be watching -- and to feel a part of -- some real greatness of character. In a world of cynicism all around but especially in sport, that was pretty damned cool. Off season is always too long. Vamos United.
