Ive never been so angry at the sele as I am at this very moment. I absolutely hate my team right now for pissing away a game 11 player who looked like the had never played a singe game together and the ass clown of a coach Klinnsman whos cheering like he ACTUALLY did something.

Seriously. Its THE WORST game this team has played in the passed 2 years. Weve had bad games but weve always played hard and made an attempt to get back in it. This game was nothing like that.

And please NO ONE give me this bullshit of Almeida this Almeida that. These were the same guys who have played in the past 6 games and the all did absolutely NOTHING.

Watching the image of Ruiz crying into the towel breaks my heart bc he was the ONLY player in these 6 games that played his heart out.

Stop it. We've been playing like shit for like 7 years. The stupid goals we let in are nothing new. And if it hadn't been for Enoc, Jerez, and the ref who did not call a clear PK on a foul against Bradley, it would have been a lot more embarassing of an exit.

La Sele got to this instance because we got a bit lucky in all 3 home games to come up with the results we did. Late goals from set pieces against USA and Jamaica, and an offside goal against Antigua. Some of us saw the elimination coming a while ago by virtue of the quality of players and play we saw, and because, well, the group was tough. We knew everyone was gonna get 6 points out of Antigua. So the key was to get points from the other opponents. We got 4 out of 12 points, and barely at that.

The poorest game I've seen of Guatemala, sad very sad. No ideas on the field, no pressing. Nothing. Defense, wow they were just looking while the USA was passing and passing around them. Well time to move on, hopefully we'll have a new process for real. With this i think Almeida will leave the Sele, because he said if he didn't take Guate to the WCQ. I still dont give a s#it, I'm still supporting the Sele, because like most of us in here, we're true fans. We gotta look ahead, thats the only way to go fellas. I hope our new process will start with the Central American Cup, which is the next competiton we got. GRACIAS CARLOS "PESCADITO" RUIZ SOS GRANDE

Congrats to USA, Panama, Honduras, Costa Rica, Canada, Jamaica, Mexico

    AGUANTE GUATE PARA SIEMPRE

Guatemalan fans put out by far the biggest away support of all three teams tonight. Not that outdrawing Antigua is much but there were no Jamaicans to be seen in Columbus and here they had about 2.5 sections.

Gracias Fish, players like him only come around once in a lifetime and i'm glad that he played for Guate. Without him and his 55 goals, our national team would've been even worse than they already are.

Thanks Real Corona, and congrats, USA came to play and won. Guate didnt. Wether Almeida continues or not i think we need to focus on a young squad. Calling the original U20 that qualified Guate to it's first U20 World Cup.
Gerson Lima, Bentacurt, Kendel Herrarte, Carlos Castillo, Elias Enoc, Marvin Ceballos(who will be eligible to play in a year), Jose Del Aguila, in addition to them Alejandro Galindo, Marco Cianni, Contreras, Ricardo Jerez, Wilson Lalin, Henry Lopez, Gallardo, Marco Pappa, and Campollo. I think this should be our base team to work for the next World Cup Soccer.

Seriously. Im really sick of crappy old players out on the field with exception to Ruiz. We need to have a solid base of young fast and smart players. Not these constant one off like Chalo, Figueroa who just take up space and show their age on the field.

I think we all agree that is time for a new change in our football, saying that Almeida has to go. Carlos el pescadito already said he's retiring from the Sele, Chalo will retired by the end of this year, Pezzarossi i hope he realizes that his time has passed. El Loco, IMO has to go, he's out of shape, no soccer skills at all. Is time to start fresh, NOW like you said Jfcule and Cha. I say even start looking for a new coach now, bring Sopegno, he knows our canteras, and our football. He's the guy that will def. give all of us what we want, a young squad.

Well Ruiz has declared in Prensalibre that he is retiring from the Sele. Now is time to really look for his replacement, someone that can score and will take the team on their back. To me the one to take his place will be Marvin Ceballos, after he comesback from his punishement from the Federation. He has one more year left.

True Jonas, like you said, Israel Silva is the best goal scorer right now in Guate, but his age, asi mejor k siga el pescado lol. But I think Ceballos can be utilized as a forward. Mira donde ponia el Almeida al Pappa, Pappa is better as a right or left wing, he had him on the center mid. But def. we need to find another young forward that has a lot of skills and has speed. A buscar en Isabal.

I'm all for Kenton. He's the only coach who actually went LOOKING for talent and then got them to a smart/tactical playing team. We have a base of players witht the U-20 WC team, so build from that base to use in the NT team.
