Hi. I just tweeted to you because I am quite desperate for this ball. It is my brother's 21 birthday in a few weeks and this ball was something that we had when we were little kids and it would be awesome if i could get this for him. I'd purchase it off of you if that is possible but I must get my hands on it if you still have it.

I just got an Adidas Europa League Official Match Ball from 2 seasons ago, and when I throw it in the air and catch it I can feel the blatter rattle inside. Is that supposed to happen? Thanks

So ive got the Euro 2008 ball thats a Replique. I just bought the Euro 21012 Tango Replique ball and I got to looking at them and at first I thought the Euro 2012 ball was smaller but when I looked at it a little more and it seem to be the same as the 2008 ball. But then I picked up the Euro 2008 ball and the Euro 2012 ball and the 2012 ball seemed lighter ? Is there anythign to this ? Is Tango not as heavy as the other the 2008 or other Adidas balls ? Ive gotten the Tango aired up to where you just barley push your finger into the ball and see it flex a little. Its ready to go. I just dont want to be kickin around a smaller ball. Both are size 5's. I mean kickin a smaller ball is like playing with a womens basketball when you been doing a mens ball. Thanks for the answers if you can give me some.

Need some advice on a new ball purchase. Looking to keep it in the £10-£20 range and it'll be more for kick-abouts and training rather than matches, so I'm after quality but mainly durability and consistency. so far I've got it down to 3 choices:
    * http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mitre-Ultim...FX34/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350326410&sr=8-1
Gets lots of good reviews for a good price.

    * http://www.amazon.co.uk/Mitre-Monde-Match-Football-Ball/dp/B003AOCLBE/ref=sr_1_2?s=sports&ie=UTF8&qid=1350326709&sr=1-2
A match ball rather than a training one but it's on the list because it has the Fifa Inspected stamp (is there a marked difference with balls that are Fifa Inspected? Strangely I have seen Ultimatch balls for sale which have the FI stamp and others which haven't.)

Another ball with the FI stamp but this one's Puma. Any views on Puma vs Mitre balls? (within the same price bracket obviously)

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

    Hey guys,
I bought an Adidas soccer ball, champions league ball '11/'12, about a year ago and have only used it on turf fields. Last week the air valve/bladder thing fell inside so the ball is pretty much done. Is that normal for the ball to only last a year when it's a premium ball that's worth 150$? Does anyone know if Adidas will reimburse or supply a new one? Has anyone had a similar issues and dealt with returns? Any help would be appreciate it!

Also how do the Nike seitiro balls compare to the adidas premium soccer balls?

My advice if you are using a ball on astro turf would just be to buy a cheap one - it doesnt really matter if its sand based or rubber crumb it just wrecks your ball. Its upto you though, if you want to spend money an expensive ball id recommend any top end Adidas ball. Never used a Joma ball.

    Sorry I couldn't respond earlier.
The problem kept on happening even after I pumped it up a little, but it stopped after about a day. But I'm starting to think that it may be fake. The ball didn't come in a box but in one of the clear Adidas bags. It also has a weird sticky texture to it (different from other match balls), and isn't very shiny like I've seen some other balls are. It also has some small text near the main logo, and I haven't seen that on any other ball online. Also it's a little hard, even when deflated. Any thoughts?

Anyone have any idea if it's real or not? I also found out that some of the text is different, and that the Adidas logo is lower than it should be compared to the ones I've seen online.

I've had this Nike Catalyst ball for a while and now it doesn't hold air anymore, probably it's a valve issue. Should I toss it or return it to Nike? I'm not sure whether this model has been manufactured over 2 years ago (2 years stitch / shape guarantee)?

Since I'm getting a new ball I'm not sure if I should go for the Nike Seitiro or the Adidas Prime. I know they're quite different and hadn't have the chance to try out the Adidas.
So far I feel like the Adidas match balls are slightly softer / pliable to kick and Nike ones have a more old school feel to it.
Can anyone confirm? Probably will go for Adidas for once as it seems like a light, fun ball.

I can't think which year that ball was produced which might indicate its been longer than 2 years. I think if you've had a lot of use out of the ball then its just one of those things with wear and tear. I've got a trespass that has slightly lost its shape but i do use it pretty much everyday so i can't complain.

As for which ball to get next - IMO Adidas definately make better balls than Nike. The touch is better and feels less heavy to me. I have used both makes top end balls and i will always choose the adidas ball over Nike. I think they are much better footballs shape and touch wise.

How's everyone doing? I came up on a really good deal if anyones interested investing in a premium match ball. Now is the time to do it. Soccerpost is doubling your order. So whatever ball you order they'll throw in another one for free. Same ball. They are legit. I did this back in the day for when I bought the jobulani. Def going to get the tango 2012 and confed 2013! I figure i'd share the deal with you guys since i'm never here anymore. Also I have a $10 gift card from soccer.com for whoever wants it. PM me!

I've had a few of those. The best thing to do is let it completely down after you've used it, so that you can hear the bladder rattle about inside. If you leave it pumped up all the time the outer part becomes flat and compressed meaning that it doesn't bounce as good and overall just deadens the ball.

To me mitre balls are some of the best if you look after them. Adidas balls are easy to look after and are always good whatever the conditions, Nike balls used to be good back with the Aerows but now I think they're just a bit plain to play with, which is probably a good thing really. On a good pitch though mitre ones are great to use, they're just harder to keep at their best.

Appreciated soupster! Shame you're a United fan hahahaha. I've never thought about letting some air out when not using it though. Will definitely be doing that.

Aside from that, cleaning it after use, and keeping it away from unnatural heat should do the trick right?

I wouldn't normally help out a Wednesday fan but I suppose just this once haha.

I usually just clean it after I've used it with one of those magic sponge things, that mostly gets rid of any marks.

Is yours the generic coloured one or is it from a club?

You might find it can bounce in the wrong direction if it lands on some parts of the panels, but I've never noticed it when playing just when bouncing it on a hard floor.

I've decided to by a new ball and I wonder which of these Adidas balls that would make me the most satisfied:
Tango 12, UCL FInale 2012 or this one: http://www.kitbag.com/stores/kitbag/products/product_details.aspx?pid=88686

What's the difference between the Tango 12 and the ball on Kitbag?
Is the Tango 12 as hard as they say (for heading)?

    I have a Nike T90 Tracer already.

I use cif to clean my football after use, it takes away a lot of the marks if you use a scouring pad. It doesn't damage the upper either so you could give that a whirl.

I haven't used a mitre ball in years, but are they still rock hard? I remember one of the QPR players on twitter saying after they had be relegated he was happy because he didn't have to use the rock hard mitre balls anymore - lol

Haha, I have never used a Mitre ball... thankfully. The best ball I can remember using was the 1995 Nike US Soccer ball. It was basically pure white 32 panel, with a red white and blue swoosh and the United States Crest. Does anyone remember this ball? It was prefectly balanced and exploded off the foot better than any ball I have ever made contact with. I bought two of them from the Nike outlet, along with the unique alpine blue USA third jersey

You won't be able to fix that very easily. The same thing happened to my teamgeist after playing 5 a side i think it must have hit off one of the boards at the strange angle and its taken a chunk out of one of the panels, i also have a very small flap where the ball has caught on something again. As annoying as it is because its a top end ball and its always nice to keep them as pristine as possible it doesn't affect the way the ball moves or anything like that. I think you just have to accept it and maybe be a bit more careful in future expecially with such an expensive ball.

Some people might be able to suggest a type of glue you can use but i imagine that would make the ball slightly un-even on the one side and 'may' affect the flight of the ball.

    Sorry its not much help!
