GNK Dinamo Zagreb is playing in European Champions League, Pedro Morales will probably have the opportunity to demonstrate his potentials.

In the first match Dinamo Zagreb lost against Real Madrid at home 0-1. Real Madrid had many problems against GNK Dinamo Zagreb, other opponents of GNK Dinamo Zagreb are Lyon and AFC Ajax.

All information about Dinamo Zagreb, you can read and comment on this website: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1802099

Chile has large Croatian community, many of them like to hear about Croatia and their success in sports. If anyone here has Croatian heritage, you can ask about Croatia and other things that concerns Croatian everyday life. Croats have a nice influence in Chilean society through diverse activities and interests, you probably all remember Croatian coach Mirko Jozic who did some nice things in Chilean football.

Also Chilean footballer Felipe Ignacio Seymour Dobud has Croatian heritage. Dobud is Croatian surname.

Dinamo Zagreb won in one match of Croatian Cup, against Radoboj, lower leagues, 3,4 maybe. It was 5-0 for Dinamo, Morales played whole match and scored one goal:

    Radoboj - Dinamo 0-5 (Kramarić 14, Šitum 31, Morales 60, Šimunić 62, 79).

    Only in Croatian language:

    http://www.gnkdinamo.hr/dinamo-sigurno-kroz-radoboj-sjajni-morales-i-šimunić.html

Title: Dinamo went safe against Radoboj, Morales and Simunic excellent.

    Google Translator:

    1 / 16 cup finals, Radoboj, 20.9.2011.

    Radoboj - GNK Dinamo 0:5 (0:2)

    Attendance: 2,000

Judges: Matoc (Zapresic), Novosel (Vrbovec) Crnčić (Vrbovec)

Radoboj: Ranogajec, Kozina (46 Vinceljak) Malarić, Košutić (od 82 Pastorčić) Šemnički, Hrvoje Šalković, Merkaš (58 Kantolić) Leljak, Cigula, Dlesk

Dinamo: Loncaric - Vrsaljko (62 Tomečak), Barbaric, Simunic, Puljić (46 Palić) - Blanket, Morales, Šitum Kramarić - Sylvestre, Krstanović (62 Rukavina)

Yellow card: Cigula (82), Kantolić (83)

    Scorers: 0:1 Kramarić (14), 0:2 Šitum (31), 0-3 Morales (60), 0:4 Simunic (62), 0:5 Simunic (79)

Dinamo was routinely passed through Radoboj and entered the next stage of the cup. The combined composition Modrih did the job in 1 / 16 cup finals, easily and convincingly won against Redoboj and goals Kramaric, Šitum Morales twice Šimunića came to victory.

Coach of Dinamo is expected to land in Radoboj sent a "mixed" composition, and the first time this season the match from the first minute began to Pedro Morales. On the left side played Ante Puljić, and behind the attacking duo Krstanović - Sylvestr were Šitum and Kramarić. Of course, the blue team were from the first minute were dominant and started getting opportunities.

After Morales was shot from a distance and try Sylvester went past the goal Redoboj, Dinamo in the 15th minute led. Blanket playful shot from 20 meters, the goalkeeper Ranogajec defended his shot and the ball goes to Kramaric who quietly sent into the corner for the lead Modrih. Blue after the leadership did not stop but continued to the occasion. So he tried a shot blanket to make the ball went over the crossbar, Moralesov freelance ended in the beam, a blow to the head Sylvestra Ranogajec defend.

Dinamo continued with the situation so that the blow and tried again and Krstanović Sylvestr and Morales and finally Simunic after a corner kick, but Ranogajec could not be overcome until 31 minute. After a series of strokes and attempts Modrih, the goalkeeper Kramarić host only briefly refused to foot natrčalog Šitum and it was 2:0 for Dinamo. Guests are still threatening to leave, but despite a few nice action and a good opportunity - no hits.

Why are the blue team very quickly in the following increased benefits. After a couple of new opportunities dynamo in the 60 minute reached 3:0. In Morales really see how his game is missing, but not in a negative way in the sense that it is not in the form of already - extremely playful. Chile was a full field, shooting from all positions, razigravao teammates and at the end of 60 minute, finally came to a well-deserved goal. Two minutes later - Simunic was first enrolled in the scorers in his first season Dinamo.

Morales took a corner, Simunic was the highest, and from their third attempt in Redoboj - came to the first goal for the Blue. Dinamo did not stop even then, indeed, were of the blue team opportunity after opportunity to be in the 79th minute goal saw a rerun of 4:0. Morales was gained from the corner, Simunic was once the highest in the high jump and it was 0:5.

Dinamo is the end had several good opportunities, but the result is not changed. Dinamo they surely went through Radoboj and turn to the next match - the one on Friday against Lokomotiva.

    Interview with Pedro Morales:

"I had a long break and I am happy to start from the first minute. I really tried hard today and I gave my best, I need a few more games to get back to that of its form. I can always give more and more, and of course I'm happy because I scored goals - Morales said and added: - It is important to have a positive series and continues to keep this positive atmosphere. Well we are doing and we are already now in the minds of the match with Lokomotiva."

GNK Dinamo Zagreb played friendly match against Croatian club Opatija from lower leagues. Opatija is celebrating 100 birthday. The match had a true friendly tone; exchanging gifts, etc.

    Opatija - Dinamo Zagreb 1-3.

    Goal scorer for Opatija:

    Vlatković 74'

    Goal scorers for Dinamo Zagreb:

    Krstanović 14'
    Kramaric 17, 48'

Dinamo Zagreb played with reserve squad. Kramaric was almost on the exit door in Dinamo, but maybe he saved himself few more months in Dinamo.

I this match, the captain was Ivan Tomecak who gave a present to Opatija management.

    Lineup of Dinamo Zagreb was:

Lončarić - Cufré (71. Marotti), Tonel (71. Karamatić), Barbarić, Puljić - Pokrivač (71. Calello), Palić, Morales (71. Sammir), Tomečak - Krstanović (71. Sylvestr), Kramarić (71. Špehar).

Chilean Pedro Morales played 71 minute.:) There was six substitute changes during the game, all of them happened in 71 minute.:p

Dinamo underrated Lyon I think. Before this Champions League, main goal for Dinamo Zagreb was to play in UEFA Europa League, nobody expected that Dinamo could play in Champions Leauge.

When they entered in this group, another change of goals. Fans expected one of the two first places, "we will win against Real", after they lost against Real, they said: "Ok, we had a good style of game, imagine how we can play than against Lyon or Ajax!"

Dinamo came in Lyon, totally different edition, image and they lost. Another shock in expectations, now fans expect at least this third place.

Croats have big expectations, because of their love for Croatian clubs, national team, they have many shocks, we are never realistic, we just say: "They have two legs, two arms, like we do", "nobody can win against us", "we are the best", "proud to be Croats", "God and Croats", "this is another historic match", "question of life or death", "in the battle for your nation", "four our home ready", "play, play Croatia", and many other styles of supporting.

These words can affect a lot on players, there is a large pressure, expectations, after the match fans hit on the ground and they become sad.

For example other weaker teams are happy, they all know that they will lose, they consider qualifications for Euro's, World Cups, Champions League as some warm experience, they will drink some bear, eat sausages, meet new people, take some photos, put them on Facebook. Croats are much different, quality of Real Madrid doesn't mean anything in the eyes of Croatian fans, they are to optimistic. This is good, but nobody likes to hug the reality after the match.:D

Maybe we are like this, because we didn't had our independence for 1000 years, since 1102. but it's hard to be realistic.:D

Today is the match against Greece. Two fanatical and temperament nations. You can only imagine what we could see.

Today is also the match Argentina - Chile.

On the thread: EL MAS SABIO - Eliminatorias Brasil 2014 Prediction Contest, they say that this match is 7.10. Fifa dije: 08/10/11 01:10 Buenos Aires Argentina - Chile.:) This is because of time difference. Fifa has European time.

    http://www.fifa.com/worldcup/preliminaries/matches/index.html

I found one interesting standings since 1930 and the first World Cup.

This is a bad new for Cobreloa, ColoColo, Univ.Católica, etc., because he's a very good midfielder.

Here he admits that he needs to play in order to recover confidence. He wasn't able to play a lot of time in Croatia due to the injuries. At the end, he said that he's very happy to come back to la U.

Personally, I think that he still is NT material.

Only good thing is that Morales is on loan. This means that Dinamo Zagreb beleives in him. I considered him as a great player with Vrsaljko, Vida, Ibanez, Cufre, Rukavina...it would be interesting to see how he would play in Universidad de Chile. He is 28 years old. Maybe he would do something great before Brazil 2014.:D

After era of Pedro Morales at the moment passed in GNK Dinamo Zagreb (on loan in U. de Chile), new Chilean player came in GNK Dinamo Zagreb: Bryan Carrasco.

This evening (14.9.) he participates in Croatian national league match against NK Osijek.
Squad of GNK Dinamo Zagreb and NK Osijek, referees, etc. Match is at Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb. Tomorrow we will have maybe video of this match with Carrasco.
The title is: "Famous" Chilean Carrasco plays for Dinamo!
In Croatia, he is so far famous because of this: very well accepted because of this.

    How did he play ?

He is one of my fave players in the Chilean league since the first time I saw him playing in the U-20 South American championship. Carrasco and Gallegos were the only oustanding players for Chile. So, I hope Carrasco develops his football in Croatia, because besides Isla we have no guarantee by the right side .

One thing I noticed is that he seemed annoyed lately in Audax, the change will do wonders for him .

At the end GNK Dinamo Zagreb played 0-0 against NK Osijek, guests defended their goal mostly. The coach of NK Osijek got the red card. Similar situations like in Chilean matches.:D

In 45th minute he centered in five meter space infront the goal but NK Osijek goalkeeper defended this very nice. So probably great shot, if website gives credits to the goalkeeper.
In 51st minute he passed well on the right side but NK Osijek defenders kicked the ball in corner.
Bryan had one assistance in 73rd minute, but Krstanovic missed.

After 30 minutes GNK Dinamo Zagreb had 73% of ball possession. 7-0 in corners.

Here is the statistics in Croatian language, what happened in all frequent minutes, I translated those minutes where Carrasco participated. I think that he started well. Maybe we wont have video after all because of this result 0-0. Standings in Croatian league: you can include another Chilean player as title holder.:D Unless something terrible happens.

Day when Bryan Carrasco came at Airport Pleso in Zagreb. He waited 15 minutes for someone who would pick him.:D Management celebrated entrance in Champions League, so they were late. But reporters waited him in time, they took his picture, in which he looked confused and somehow lost.;) "Donde esta todos?"

He could participate in Champions League, at Tuesday, 18.9. FC Porto comes in Zagreb, thats why this national league match is playing at Friday, we could see FC Porto as reason for this 0-0 result. FC Porto is much more important. On this website you can follow his moments in GNK Dinamo Zagreb.

Nobody knows which one.:D Vrsar is in region called Istra, this club uses Italian language, even though there are only 6.92% of Italian minority.;) Similar thing is in region Friulli Venezia Giulia, where majority of residents understands Croatian.

I noticed that you here like Bryan Carrasco, you consider him as a perspective player with chance to play for Chile national team. I read anyway about GNK Dinamo Zagreb, I watch highlights, so why not forward some informations for chilenos.:D

New upcoming match is Eternal Derby between GNK Dinamo Zagreb and HNK Hajduk Split in Zagreb, Maksimir Stadium, 29.09.2012., 18h CET. Its early because of possible riots, violence, so that forces of order can observe everything.:)

I expect victory of GNK Dinamo Zagreb, they play at home, but you never know.:whistling:
This would be a nice chance for Bryan Carrasco to feel the real thing in Croatian national league, if fans of GNK Dinamo Zagreb come in much higher number than against Porto in Champions League. Three days for you to buy the tickets, that charming piece of paper.:D Highlights will be here day after.

*** Maybe it would be better that moderators change the thread title into Bryan Carrasco, because Pedro Morales is on loan at U. de Chile. They could just delete Pedro Morales and write Bryan Carrasco, other words in thread title are correct and they can stay.

In these moments, we need players like Carrasco for the NT, because Isla (starter right-midfielder) isn't fit (he hasn't played in Juventus, and he played only 1 match for the NT this year, against Colombia, and of course he didn't do well; he's in bad shape).
But idiot "barbecue-maker" Borghi (Chile NT coach) ignores Carrasco; he never calls him up. So Boris Rieloff(Iquique) is one of the best options, but I'm pretty sure that Borghi won't call up Rieloff.
He'll trust in Mauricio Isla again for the matches against Ecuador and Argentina.

Mauricio Isla plays in Juventus now, this is one of reasons why he plays in Chilean national league, also clubs want to see their players in national team squads, this keeps their higher price, good commercial for the club, but they get club instructions in which they must save themselves when they play for national team. Its not coincidence that many players play great in their clubs and average for their national teams.:D Juventus would lose a lot, if Isla wouldnt be a regular Chilean player. Some arrogant club coaches say in public: Why would he play and give everything for some national team match if we pay him here so much?";)

Croatian league seems unknown, but from this league many great players came out in last 22 years. I think that Borghi will ignore Carrasco in further matches also, the only hope for Carrasco is if he gets a great contract with some club from Spain, Italy, etc.
