Agbossoumonde is on the DFL transfer list, so it is extremely likely he is signing for a German club (ie Eintracht Frankfurt) before the day ends.
Rumors are he's being signed for their reserve team which plays in the Regionalliga Sud (fourth division).
He will not be with Frankfurt's first team, he will begin with the reserves from what I understand (4th division). The reserves of a Bundesliga II team is not necessarily a better situation than the first team of an Allsvenskan club. In fact, I'd say it is definitely a step down in quality.
They wouldn't be taking him on loan if they thought he didn't have the potential to play Bundesliga football. Also, the Regionalliga has a huge emphasis on developing skill. Half the teams competing are reserve teams (mostly U23). It's not a bad place to develop.
Step down for Boss but probably a better place in the short term since the emphasis will be on development instead of winning. Still not a bad spot for a 19/20 y/o to be in, but he needs to impress during this loan.
Let me be frank; I trust the clubs evaluations of Boss more than you guys. Even more than that I trust my own eyes.
It may be a step down, but when you've shown that you clearly weren't ready for the previous level, that's not always bad. Gale is now in project territory. Hopefully he puts it together, but it will be a long road.
I absolutely agree with this, just wanted to point out to the other posters that it isn't like he played poorly and was rewarded with a contract surrounded by higher level players, but I would think it is a more than suitable destination for development.
Bingo. He needed a step down, and the concurrent easing of pressure that comes with it. Give him a few years to build a good foundation and then let's see what he has to offer.
The dynamic's of Gale's situation are moving more in his favor each and everyday. If I'm not mistaken his contract with Traffic ends next year. If Traffic cann't sell him they make Zero / Zilch on their investment and Gale as a 21 year old becomes a free agent. A Gale with no contract become highly attractive to a lot of clubs. Gale is still a bit raw, but he does possess great footwork and ball skills and imo with consistent playing time some of his tactical blunders will begin to work themselves out.
No idea how he's playing. I just did a google news search and it seems he's been playing regularly. One indication that might be in the negative column is that the Railhawks are tied for the most goals conceded.
He was diagnosed (in this thread) with "Big Kid Disease" and apparently he's still searching for a cure.
