I've followed him somewhat when he played for Lille but kind of lost track when he went to ST Etienne, I know he prefers the rightfoot but is ambidextrous I think, I know he's also great as a flankplayer and L'equippe called him L'oportuniste IIRC back when he played in France, referring to his ability to find the goal from pretty much any viable position very quickly.
In short, he's a pretty good dribbler who actually doesn't loose track of the ultimate goal, namely scoring, something that cannot be said from every talented foot-artist Forward player.

not native English speaker so excuse me for misspelling or use of wrong terminology.

that was very well written and completely understandable for this native England-er :) Thanks! I'm more and more excited about this acquisition the more I hear. He said in the welcome interview that he can play striker, right or left wing, so hopefully he will fit in on our right, which has been a bit of a weak spot for a while now.

    COYB!!!

I heard in the Belgian media today that he was actually contacted by Arsenal a couple of months ago but that deal somehow didn't materialize.
When do you think he'll be given a chance to play, I see on the EPL website that he's not planned for today's game against MU, but that's not really surprising given the short amount of time this all has come to fruit I guess ?

Exactly - they couldn't get the deal registered in time for him to be eligible against MU. My guess is we'll see him off the bench in a week or two.

Window closes tomorrow. Apparently we're interested in Costa Rican defender Bryan Oviedo from FC Copenhagen.

I'd like an out and out right winger but the three signings we made are very good, and only really lost Rodders, who wasn't in our team much last season anyway due to injuries... For once I'd say we had a satisfying transfer window :)

oops... and Cahill, but we could see him going down hill. didn't figure as much last season etc. Our core squad was kept together. Really glad we have kept baines so far! and jags

I am extremely excited about him. Trying to find out how much the option to buy is.

no. he refuted it quite eloquently on facebook. I hate when the press make up stuff like this and that was my first thought when someone said the rumor. Why on earth would a player say that, immediately AFTER the transfer window CLOSES, to a danish newspaper of all things, when he's said nothing about it before/during the window to any English (where his club is) and/or Belgium (where he's from) newspapers? Yeah... sounds made up as far as I was concerned and with his fb post I'm happy to believe he's still happy at EFC :)

ok, now I'm just mad that a whole shitstorm of stupidness started cos felli spoke to a foreign press person and said whatever he said that got relayed to us as him wanting to leave. it's utter madness. and stupid.

At least moyes has said it's finished and over with... so let's hope so! :(
