I kind of thoght the reported $1 million was too low for a player of Cahill's ability.

Get that sorted quickly and we're looking better. Plenty of midfield options. Would think a striker will come in on loan.

    Confirmed at £4.5 million. Delighted.

Little bit more than I was hoping to pay but a proven player is not a cheap player.

unfortunately, rodders hasn't done much since his injury 2 years ago... if the change helps him, and helps us, i'll sadly say goodbye. BUT: if he doesn't have any more injuries after his move, I sure as hell want to know why he had them at EFC and we couldn't get him free of them. Our injury record is beyond ridiculous.

Don't have a bad word to say about Jack. Injuries hampered progression for us but he never let it get to him, always worked hard. If he had a good run of games for Everton, I am almost certain someone like Darron Gibson wouldn't be at the club because we'd have a fine partnership with Fellaini and Rodwell. One of the most gifted footballers I've seen break through. Massive shame.

It doesn't hit us that hard because of the injuries, we hardly knew he was around.

For me it came down to Rodwell vs Fellani/Baines. If you had to choose betwen those three which is the one you would sell?

Of course, you'd rather sell the player who doesn't feature much.

It's unbelievably sad that we have to talk this way, though.

here's the thing though, moyes brought players in BEFORE we sold rodders, and we all know that we'd sell JR before baines/felli... Clubs sell players all the time. Yes we've had more sell than not, but this offseason I feel like it wasn't really that way. (it probably was) hopefully Moyes can bring in 1-2 more players (right winger anyone?) and if he does and the rest of the money goes the bank, I can't complain... If he doesn't, well... we'll see how happy I am at the end of deadline day. :)

Would be a very nice player to get at the right price. I love the internet so we can all connect as fans but during the summer and winter transfer windows it is almost unbearable, however I still keep coming back for more

Not helped now we have a little bit of money to spend. We get linked to everyone!

Not seen much from Mirallas so can't really comment on whether he would be capable of performing well in the league. I'm always cautious when we sign outside of the UK.

Mirallas has a game extremely well suited to the premier league. Barring injury, I suspect he will do well for you.

All done. Dare I say it, with a days before it shuts, that we have had a positive summer window? Three attacking players in and the outgoings not hurting us that much.

I think he meant a few days before it shuts :) Probably was just so excited by 3 attacking players in and, as mentioned, outgoings that aren't our core squad from last season, that he was thinking too fast to type! ;)

As long as we sell no one else (but Yobo) I'm taking this as a surprisingly good transfer window. Hopefully there will be a bit of money from the Rodwell sale left for another signing or two now, or at least in January. I hate going into a season with too much positivity, because I hate having my hopes crushed, but what can I say? I just can't help myself! COYB!

Yeah, I meant a few days.

Certainly gives us a lot of options going forward and some much needed pace in the side. Niang impressing whilst training as well, he could be the next one in.

Yobo is already sold. I would be ok if Victor was sold. I don't think he will ever cut it here. I am really excited by this season.

Victor got some important goals last year in limited playing time, but I agree with you abouty possibly letting him go. He is adequate depth for the squad though.

Mirallas to the EPL, for me that's a surprise, I suspected him to go to France again, anyway a real steal for Everton, he's much better than his lack of fame suggests.
The Greek competition is very defense orientated , still he managed to score 20 goals last year, not bad at all I think.

I am guessing you have seen him many times. I have watched him on Youtube and can tell he is a good dribbler, and likes to take people 1v1. Is he left foot dominate? Can he play wide right? Other than his dribbiling what else can you tell us about him
