I don't think Mario is going anywhere this year. He's extremely loyal to Mancini and his showing at the Euros seems to have made Mancini proud that he stuck his neck out there for him so many times... I'm looking forward to him having a breakout season - the sky's the limit.

Some rumours of Dede along with many other defenders (Skrtel, Ranocchia, and Godin to name a few), we do definitely need a CB. If not for Financial Fair Play I think we would have gone in hard for Thiago Silva but the club are taking FFP seriously now unlike seemingly PSG and Chelsea, hence the emphasis on selling first.
Eh, Chelsea just got a good chunk of change from the CL win, and offloaded a bunch of wages in Drogba, and to a lesser extent Kalou and Bosingwa. I don't think their recent signings are that terrible as far as FFP goes.
UAE Olympic star Omar Abdulrahman is flying over to Manchester for a trial with us. He looked incredible in the Olympics but this is a big step up so let's see how he does.
City have finally opened the check book to sign Jack Rodwell from Everton. With De Jong set to leave after failing to agree a new deal, Rodwell will become understudy to Barry and Yaya I'd imagine. Investing in a lot of potential here as he's had injury problems.
Sky confirm De Rossi's agent is in Manchester for talks... oh, don't do this to me again! Every transfer window we're linked with him and never get him. He would be the most epic of epic signings for us not named Messi, Ronaldo, or Iniesta... but I'll believe it when I see it and half expect a "no deal" sign to disappoint us all again. Yaya and De Rossi...
Looks like we might be signing Sinclair, he's turned down a new Swansea contract. Might depend on Adam Johnson who has been mouthing off again and could be shipped out permanently or on loan.
Don't know if he's an upgrade but he offers something different (pace, directness). Johnson has stagnated and seemed to lose his pace with an ankle injury... plus he has a really bad attitude and doesn't listen to Mancini, who is a very demanding coach and wants all eleven players to work their arse off. Johnson rarely does and it shows when you have a little guy like Silva running all over the place, tracking back, and getting stuck in while Johnson stands out on the touchline admiring his finger nails.
Things on twitter atm... Dzeko to Tottenham becoming popular. Bit ridiculous but rumors nonetheless. Proposed value is a joke around 5 (probably Adebayor).. Obviously Johnson going all over the place has been rampant, but havent seen anything on De Jong in nearly a week. & incoming... Scott Sinclair & maybe a more finished player comes in if Aguero injury is worse than he believes
Johnson will definitely leave but don't think we'd sell Dzeko to a rival. Overseas or nowhere. I don't think De Rossi is going to sign so don't know what we'll do about the midfield, Mancio wants someone of the highest quality to partner Yaya in the CL but there aren't many available. Jovetic being linked too.
Adam Johnson has joined Sunderland. Not sure on fee but heard it was £10million rising to £15million with bonuses. Scott Sinclair likely to replace him.
Sinclair kept out of the lineup today. Presumably ahead of the transfer to City? I saw Nani rumors. I'm assuming they are straight up crazy talk.
Nigel de Jong gone to Milan. Quite gutted, one of the main men in the rise of City. Granted we have evolved a bit beyond the need for a purely defensive midfielder now, but it's still very sad. Hope we have a good midfielder lined up tomorrow, reports say Javi Garcia... is he really a good enough alternative to De Rossi and Martinez?
I wish there was a way to keep him. But if he can get more time elsewhere, I can't fault him for wanting a move.
Busy day... Scott Sinclair, Maicon, and Richard Wright all official. Fee for Garcia agreed. Nastasic deal is quiet but seems to be happening as Savic is in Florence to go the other way. All in all not bad business.
