There's plenty of screwy numbers on there.

He's not a bad keeper, but why are LA paying Brian Perk $110,000?

George John still "slumming it" on a meagre wage too. Bless.

Beckham's guaranteed compensation is an odd amount - $ 3,999,999.96

He was fairly highly rated out of college and earned himself that salary in his first contract. He has been above 100k since he first signed with MLS.

YP Lee at 140k is a steal. Almost makes up for Thorrington (170k) and Harris (150k).

The chart doesn't include Sounders and Red Bulls latest DP signing.

Or Columbus'. However, we do see that Bengston and Boniek Garcia may be absolute steals at their salary.

This is what most thought but now it appears confirmed that Bengston was a DP due to a transfer fee and not because of salary.

I hate that rule. Its that rule making transfer fees count against cap is the reason why we had to trade flaco to Chicago cause he was DP due to transfer fee.

Lol at Davy Arnaud (275K) making more than Nesta (180K).
There most be something in Nesta contract that gives him something else.

On a side note, can't believe NYRB wouldn't want a Nesta at 180K on their backline after the last MTL-NY game. Bet some of their fans regret them not signing him when they had the chance.

Henry should come play in Montreal :p

Nesta being 36 would worry me a bit, and the Red Bulls look to be building with the future in mind with their recent glut of young-ish defender acquisitions. But, if that last game was any indication, I'd expect Nesta to end up deserving more than his $180k for this year.

Marco Pappa, Mauro Rosales, Wondo, MVP De Rosario, Roger Espinoza, Zusi, Alonso best value for the money. Junihno singed that contract with Sao Paulo most likely funded by AEG.

I think Seth Sinovic is a better value than Zusi. As for Espinoza, after the Olympics he is going to be getting a sizeable raise wherever he ends up.
