Update: Torres scored his first hat-trick since coming to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea routed QPR 6-1 on Saturday at home. Analysis: Torres seems to have made a psychological breakthrough after scoring the final goal in the Champions League semifinal against reigning world champions Barcelona. His three goals are the first since he was with Liverpool in a 6-1 victory over Hull City September 26, 2009. Something about this surge feels more like an epiphany than an enigma though for the resurgent Torres. 30 Apr 2012 08:36 AM
http://blog.oddslife.com/2012/05/torres-torture-over-del-bosque-returns-to-tried-and-tested/ A lot of people suggesting (including Sid Lowe, La Liga journalist) that Torres may start for Spain!
I hate to say it but I think next season he will be the one to stop! He will be the main man and with a talented young midfield supplying him.
I have been saying for a long time he needs Drogba to leave so he can be the main man and Chelsea have been slipping the last few years but with the signings they have already made and will make should put them right bac up there. Personally I hope he doesn't as I don't support Chelski but for football it would be good to see him at the top of his game again.
He is really an added advantage to Chelsea. They can rely on him totally as he is one of the best ion the business
Torres will stay at Chelsea. With the type of Euros he had, he'll do just fine. And besides. If Chelsea did want to sell him, they would ask for loads of money.
True. Definitely one of the best forwards out there. Despite some worse periods he is one of the most important players in Chelsea.
Of course Torres will stay at Chelsea!!! How could he leave such a passionate support??? Ok, maybe we have a few thousands seats to fill everygame. Like Newcastle, Manc city, Liverpool etc when we are not winning. But us 30,000 teams don't expect to rival the 70,000 plus like Man u, Celtic a nd Rangers!!
He doesn't look as old as he's supposed to look at his age. He still got his quick decision making ability in the box followed up by quick footwork with the ball. with a great lineup that theyve got supporting this kid, maybe he will have another great year acquiring stats close to his prime days, okay maybe not. Well cheer my beer for torres because he seems to be sweating hard on chelseas grass out there to make his team and himself be recognized......maybe hoping for another championship plus league champion deal.
Met Torres last night in their team hotel, he was walking around with Azpilicueta. We played a game of FIFA and I asked him if he thought about moving cities and mentioned Napoli. He smiled and just said no. Didn't want to bother him on the subject but had to ask! It was the most incredible fifa game of my life couldn't believe it the whole time. He is a great guy.
Torres played for Liverpool at the best, he got nothing played for chelsea at medium, he got every title
