    They are scum, of course.
My point is that the only thing worse than scum ultras, would be scum ultras who are involved in arranging for their own team to throw matches leading to relegation!
I strongly hope no Samp ultras were involved in any such thing.

But anyway, back in Serie A, now I can actually have hope of watching Samp matches again! Hooray!

I'm sure he pocketed a lot of cash from Moratti and his short stay at Inter to not care anymore.

I doubt it. Garrone is too much of a tightarse!

Here's an opinion article on the situation:

    http://www.football-italia.net/20198/samp-sense-or-stupidity

Ideally, if we do get Rafa, he needs to money to spend. I doubt that the Garrones have done their research. Even if they do hire him, this looks like a lost cause. I hope that I'm proven wrong and that the Garrones might have learned their lesson. I feel sorry for Iachini though. He was promised a contract extension if he got the side promoted.

If Rafa comes, changes to the defence and midfield are required and Pozzi needs either a partner in attack or to be a super-sub.

I think that he was looking for a better deal and didn't get it. He has got Peruzzi as his assistant and wants to bring Insigne to Sampdoria. I reckon he will stay at Napoli but if Mazzarri doesn't play him, I reckon Ferrara should bring him to Genova during the winter break.
There are also rumours of Cassano and Pazzini coming back. Garrone doesn't want Cassano back but Pazzo's return is possible, especially if Stramaccioni plays Milito at Inter. Most players don't do well in their second stint but staying at Inter would be worse than coming back to i doriani.
I reckon Ferrara should consider bringing Manolo Gabbiadini to Sampdoria or any other U/21 who doesn't get regular action at senior club level.

I've heard that too from other sources. If it's a done deal, I just hope he returns to his Catania form, particular under Mihajlovic. His Barca and Milan stints proved to me that he isn't good enough for big clubs.

Maxi López is a good signing for Sampdoria since he is a proven Serie A goalscorer. Pazzini's wage would have been too much for Samp anyway since you guys just got promoted.

uhhh thanks for the rep? I was just stating what I heard about inter negotiations for poli collapsing which puzzled me since we could have bought him for 5 mill, now napoli or milan or even udinese might come in

we probably wanted to buy him for less, he wanted to join us but samp and inter couldn't agree, samp have enough young midfielders so I think he's going to leave

The Poli rumours are persisting and now it seems that Sampdoria want Estigarribia, who played at Juve last season. He would be ideal on the left-wing.

Palombo looks set to leave. It's just a matter who of he will go to.

Sounds good. I liked him at Juve, even though he only had limited time on the pitch. He's so much better than Semioli!
