Agreed. He can learn a lot playing with those veterans. And hey, he'll seem fast playing among all the 35+ year olds
18k for 10 weeks of training camp? Hell, i'll take that. It's an opportunity to play with and against top notch international players. Even in their mid 30's Pires,Canavarro, and Crespo are still better than most players in Guate. It's a chance to get looked at by other international clubs, why not take it and get paid for it?
This pretty much means he won't play for VCU Rams' soccer team anymore since he's giving up his amateur status. It seems like a risk, I hope it turns out well for him.
Yeah that's true, but then again the college season is like what ~close to ten weeks as well. Hes probably going to get better if not the same quality/intensity of soccer and he is getting paid. so i think the only thing he is going to be missing out on is a semester of school and a chance to get looked at from MLS or lower league scouts. Then again if he flops over there (ojala que no), then hes kinda screwed.
I just heard Alejandro Galindo is close to signing with Municipal. Anyone know anything in regards to this?
Ya practicamente lo firmaron, el lunes lo confirman. Es por eso que quieren dar a Manuel de Leon a prestamo.
If this kid doesnt leave Muni for somewhere better in 2 years or less, this will be another talented player that the rojos kill. What an awful step for this kid.
Pobre Galindo, ojala no le hagan lo mismo como a Pappa, if you flojitos remember Pappa was on the bench most of the time, until he went abroad. Flojos dont like to give youngsters a chance.
Deplano el Almeida le lavo el cerebro, he probably told him, hey kid listen up, u want to be in the sele u need to be playing more, tell u what, i'll hook u up with rojos so u can play with them and that way u'll have more playing time and u can have more playin time on the Sele.
Elias Enoc might be going to Switzerland. It's from la red so we need to find some more reliable sources. http://lared.com.gt/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6197&catid=73
This brought a huge smile to my face: "Si el representante del mundialista no logra instalarlo en la liga del viejo continente el jugador estaría presto para salir al futbol centroamericano pues la junta directiva así como el defensor no quiere quedarse en Guatemala." If Switzerland doesn't pan out, I hope somewhere else does. But this kid should not have to be stuck in Guate with his talent and willingness to learn.
Josué García o José Hidalgo con oportunidad en Uruguay. http://lared.com.gt/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=6200&catid=73
This guy will be getting a christmas card from me this year. http://lared.com.gt/index.php?option=com_zoo&task=item&item_id=80&Itemid=37
Glad to see all these Chapines getting looked at, the more players we have playing out of Guate, the better our Sele will be. what you guys think about Moises Hernandez coming to play to Guate, he was in the US U20, if Almeida wants, he can call this kid to play for Guate, i think he's a good defender.
Wasnt this the kid that tried to shush the crowd in the Mateo after the US tied it 1-1? If that's him, que me chupe el huevo derecho. Kid's got ALOT to lear about being a chapin.
