Nishikawa plays for Takahashi. You must remember she pushed Urawa on the verge of defeat in the National Championship Tournament. Although Kinoshita and Muramatsu belongs in Beleza, both of them are subs for Doko (U17) now. What a talented team! She is 147cm tall. But I prefer the second half team. I think Ayu will struggle to find the place in this team.
Is there any chance of Kawasumi manga being publish in tankobon format? (like all chapters on a single volume) I would definitely import it.
I think both of them will start at the game of 20th. She is Takagi, sorry to point out a minute thing.
So I would say they need Kawashima! Anyway, we may be able to see how they will change with Shibata and Fujita at the second game.
Yes, it's announced for July. The regular edition its sold out for the pre-order in CD Japan: Here The special edition (with merchandising) is still open for preorder: Here Anyway, don't think it will be difficult get one when released.
By any chance, someone has already a feed for today's Nadeshiko Japan's match? (Japanese TV, US TV, anything... )
I've got it set record on the Universal Sports Network here in the U.S. Unfortunately there's no way I can transfer to the computer. However, I'm sure this will be covered by more adept netizens.
No, it's about the sisters' history and relationship in the family. This translation work is quite hard, so I'll give you just a short excerpt, and hirohiro may help us. Some points: While Asano is superior in sense as a footballer, Yuki can continuously keep making an effort. Yuki was afraid that her father would come see her games in her junior high days. She had played in order not to be scolded by her father until about the Beijing Olympics, so their relationship is still not smooth. At first in German Yuki felt they made light of Asians. She thought she would meet the different needs of each player to get their trust.
Quite completely unrelated, but, judging by what I see in the documentary (when Nagasato father is driving), In Japan cars have the wheel on the right, like in anglo-saxon countries? And why there is a Gladiolus at the beginning? Somehow related with family name Nagasato?
British engineers designed the Japanese rail system, so they made it the same as in Britain: the trains travel on the left. Hence, so do the cars.
Yes, cars have the steering wheel on the right. Gladiolus' Groove is the program title, so it's irrelevant with Nagasato. The narrator says Gladiolus means "ready for fight" in Ancient Roma and its flower language is "continuous efforts and victory".
Someone got confused if that's what the guy said. Gladiolus comes from gladius, the Latin for sword, hence the word gladiator - that may be where the programme's "ready to fight" idea comes from.
I haven't seen it yet and I'm afraid I'll probably give it a pass. I didn't think it was much to do with football and I'm not really interested in Nagasato's family. Meanwhile Nadeshiko went to see Sweden vs USA match (only first half). Otaki says she's looking forward to playing amongst these players. http://nadeshikojapan.jp/national_team/post_5.html
Japan start with: GK Kaihori DF Kinga, Kumagai, Utsugi, Shark MF Ohno, Sawa, Sakaguchi, Miyama FW Nagasato, Kawasumi So slightly different from yesterday's report on the starting 11. Kaihori instead of Fukumoto and Kumagai plays instead of Yano.
I'm ready to see the match but I have to pay to see the game there, not fair, is other links available?
Lol, an_turtar, I couldn't correct this in time and you beat me, but it was up to me, since I also teach Latin in high school! I'll add that "gladiolus" basically means "little sword" (since it's a diminutive of "gladius") Does anyone have another link? The justintv one that hirohiro sent freezes for me...
I guess it made sense to let Yano play with the starters to get some practice with the starting defense line (minus Saki, who is nevertheless the preferred starter in the "real" game). Go Nadeshiko!
I studied Latin for three years myself, quite some time ago, though I do remember most of it. I've actually tried to get pupils here in Japan interested in Latin and Greek in order to get them to look at words more carefully. I had a Japanese teacher here say in a speech making group for adults that the word "incredible" means "really, really good". Well, needless to say I was dying to ask what she thought the words credible, credit, creed, credulous, credentials etc. all mean... I have a friend in Boston who teaches Latin actually, taught over here too.
people, I still can't get a streaming that works, but is it right what i see for match-tracker, that we're already 0-2 from wambach and morgan goals? I'd like a way to watch this carnage anyway...
I had something to do and now I came back to the game and... really US won already 2-0? what happened?
