I call 1-1 draw. IDK why. It is just my gut feeling.

I also have that same gut feeling about a 1-1 draw.. Then it's entirely up to Portugal if they wanna go through, as a dutch victory will send Denmark in the 1/4's

Both games are very open though, and I could see any of the four teams win their game tonight. Holland have something to prove though, but is there any harmony left in the squad?

Never underestimate the "Danish Dynamite" ... who knows it better than the Germans? ;)

Are we facing another thrilling last (group) matchday ... as been the case with group A last night?

I'm gonna watch this game on the big screen, and then the Holland-Portugal match simultaneously on my laptop. This Group Of Death sure is the cream of everything football! Luv it!

My roommate and I are doing the same. I'm thinking a 3-1 win... 2 by Gomez, one by Schweini :)

I hope so but to be honest, I think that last night's events could work against the Danes... Germany will not want to suffer the fate of the Russians through carelessness, you can see in their unchanged lineup that they are going for an all out win... will be an interesting night though...

Strong Germany game, Podolski makes it 1-0. No chance for Denmark tonight.

The Danish goal shouldn't have happened, but I don't think there's too much Neuer could have done about it...

It's about time Podolski showed up... I've been waiting for him to make waves here. Great way to celebration the 100th cap though!

Game over, Germany win the game 2-1, and the group with 9 points. Germany-Greece on Friday.

Well now it's 9 points and the quarter final. That's great.

The game was not that good though. Again many bad passes the offense is still not at it's best :(.
Yes Denmark was very defensive but still Germany had too many chances to not score....

And on friday it's against a bad defensive Greece team. Great.....

Hey d3rd3vil, do you now admit how wrong you were about this group. Leave the predictions too the pros.

What did I predict? ^^ Yeah I thought Holland would beat Portugal...couldn't expect them to play their worst tournament in years...

It wasn't a pretty game, that's for sure. I was really hoping Germany would be able to pull off a bit more, but they got the W!

you actually said Portugal stood no chance, not little chance but no chance.

Hey dont get me wrong, I agree Germany and Netherlands were favourite but Portugal never failed to make it past the group stage in a euro and you acted as if they were Isreal.

Well they had problems during the qualification and lost against Turkey before the tournament....I certainly thought Holland wants to reach the quarter final. Now I am a little bit surprised I have to admit that :)

Aye, going by Portugals recent games you would have been hard pressed to say they were favorites over the Dutch to advance. But well done to Portugal, they stepped up their game. Even in their loss to Germany I thought they were every much their equal.

That's been nerve-wrecking 10 minutes for all Germany fans after Portugal's 2:1 lead ... until the newcomer & youngster Bender scored the winner. To be honest, I was pretty disappointed with the Danes after the interval (although Germany didn't manage to create as much scoring opportunities as in the first half), since I never got the impression that they really tried to go for the 2:1 (obviously hoping for a Dutch victory). Nevertheless, they got the huge chance to take the lead immediately after the interval. The German team controlled the game, having huge ball possession especially in the 2nd half ... but could hardly create chances against a very defensive Danish team. But well, it wasn't Germany who needed the 3 points ... so the team acted patiently and waited for the decisive moment to counter-attack (when Denmark finally realized they can't continue bunkering).

9 points in this so-called "group of death" - that's surely no modest achievement. ;) But well, let's not forget what happened to Holland 4 years ago...
