Yes, but what I get from that is that normally mumf accuses me of being pro-Kaihori and KAPIJXM accuses me of being pro-Fukumoto...
blissett, how do I "normally accuse" you? Just once I posted: "I know that there at least 3 people here, including blissett and you, that think she is the best GK for the job", nothing else. I was saying much less than you: "I said multiple times, she should be the starter".
Thanks, very interesting. Hard to believe the 60% to 70% comment! I can think of 3 or 4 players who were better in spring, and should be better (than the WWC) for the Olumpics - Yuki, Rumi, Saki and Kawasumi.
Full time 3-1 to USA. The only player worth watching was Schelin. Both teams couldn't put two passes together - ok, exaggerated there, but it felt like it after watching two L. League games recently (INAC vs Urawa and Beleza vs INAC). Against Sweden, Nadeshiko should just play their game and if they can keep Schelin quiet I can't see them losing against Sweden in the Olympics. The USA hasn't changed anything. Same old Morgan and Wambach. The pace and height, even though you know what's coming from them, it's still so difficult to deal with them...
I only saw the last 10 minutes but it was clear that Sweden were pushed off the field as the USA looked for goal #4; right now, it seems the USA is way better than them. They will be well prepared for the Olympics as their camps have been going on forever..... plenty of Olympics money for sure. As for Wambach, did you see in injury time her challenge in the box? It looked like Seger was knocked unconscious. In the L-league, really appreciated Becky and Bev just then, thanks.
monday is at 13:00 CET but wednesday I don't know by the way, maybe that schelin is a little overstimated, any FW of nadeshiko NT is better than her
I don't think so. She was threat every time she got the ball against the USA today. Her movement, technique, pace and composure and everything she did was excellent. She did that playing as a lone striker and very poor services from her team. She can beat a defender and she can keep the ball and bring midfiealders to join. She does everything so effortlessly too. She's a class act and she's definitely superior to any Nadeshiko forwards in any department. She would easily walk into Nadeshiko. Just in case, somebody trying to use the semi-final in WWC to judge her, please, she had no service whatsoever...
So it was like watching another rendition of the Sweden vs England clash, from the recent European Championships meeting. Only this time with Wambach standing in for Andy Carroll, and Schelin replacing Zlatan . Kind of with the whole Japan vs USA thing, so I don't think I'll be watching the latest installment of this not so epic trilogy , but I'm genuinely looking forward seeing Japan play the Olympic dark horse French, in France. While the U.S. games test fitness, conditioning, and tactics, France should be the best test of Nadashiko's technical credentials right now . , lets not get toooooo carried away now .
in UCL final she didn't make a good game neither, is my opinion, sorry if you think other thing, I respect your opinion but I have mine, and I prefer Yuki, Nahomi, Kozue, Shinobu or Mana instead of Lotta
Why so defensive . Just calm down before you get to high on the unproven elements of the Nadeshiko team. Your reacting like I walked sh*t through your house, and forgot to apologise .
sorry, but is my opinion, I don't know so much of female football like you but at least I can have my opinion, right?
Check http://www.uefa.com/womenschampionsleague/season=2012/statistics/index.html And look at Schelin stats please ;_;...
I'm not trying to shut down yours, or anybody else's opinion, I'm just playing devils advocate for out side view points, that could sometimes also suggest the exact opposite to a perspective that can't always be seen from the often soft, but still jingoistic, platform for online debate Going on international performances, so far I could only see Yuki being the Japanese forward you could call a goal scorer in the mould of Schelin, and Yuki's been a real stubborn mule of a forward for Sasaki to get going , but then again is Yuki even a traditional #9? Ohno, Kawasumi, and little Mana (in the near future), are seriously elite female talents, and significantly better than anything Sweden have in their respective attacking 4-4-2 positions too, but Schelin is almost the modern archetype for elite level female strikers right now, who are increasingly tasked with having to play the mobile lone forward role. In a 3 forward front line, Japan would be miles ahead of Sweden, and a probably a good distance better than the other top 10 nations around them right now too, but it's hard to say Japan have forwards individually better than Schelin, when the Nadeshiko forwards are tactically, and technically, more like female versions of a Iniesta/Fabregas CM/AM type of player. So yeah , your honestly not wrong when you say you prefer watching the Japanese forwards, because who doesn't enjoy seeing deceptively creative talents, who are always the most gifted players on the field, as the glorious final parts, to the games best teams? With her ability to dribble at speed, create and finish chances, and consistently maintain possession of the ball, Schelin is definitely no tall, overly physical, one dimensional mug either. In fact, if INAC were to sign a serious foreign player to fit their system, Schelin would probably be absolutely perfect .
Whatever..... a lot of strange posts today. But I think KAP got it right - an opinion is OK. Well I just finished Wavester's video files of Beleza v INAC, 2nd half. Like the first half, it was high quality. Although decided by a soft PK, this was the best game I have seen since the internationals in spring. Although I agree losing Mana was big, it was still very tough on Beleza to lose. One comment - I dont think taking off Asano to bring on Kobayashi at 75' was a good idea being a goal down. I think Beleza & INAC are on one level, and then its Belle & Urawa one peg down. Given that there is competitive plan this summer, the weaker teams will be sharp when the league resumes. It should be very good and I hope Beleza can close the gap.
New chapter of Kawasumi's manga. Chapter 5 This time is the arrive of Sawa, Ohno and Kinga to INAC. Sawa is cool, but Kinga and Ohno don't have faces . ... and the final of WWC, Miyama neither have face .
