We have to admit he really messed up today. How many times did he fail? If it wasn't for the other 10 men that no-one talks about or are considered '' just average'' we would be packing our backs and boarding the next plane out to Portugal.

Deserved victory for Portugal, but in this game it should be noted that fans do have the right to complain about C. Ronaldo. His 2nd half was disastrous. Hope he'll be in a better psychological condition next match.

Denmark fought very well and proved that they're not pushovers. I wish that P. Bento found a way to cover that left flank. C. Ronaldo doesn't mark the 2nd man which leaves Coentrão all by himself. It was quite noticeable throughout the match. Most dangerous plays from Denmark came from there.

Anyway, exciting match. Both teams can still go through.

I get that...but it was going on BEFORE he messed up so many times. Some of these 'fans' care more about how badly he does rather than how their team play *face palm*

    It's always
It's always like that when we play, it's either making fun of Ronaldo or calling us cheats. I say **** them, we won and that's what matters. Now let's hope Ronaldo wakes up vs Netherlands.

But hey, Denmark lost fair and square, and that Simon Poulsen has got to be an embarrasment to the rest of the defense. Agger is way above many of his teammates, and Bentner did surprisingly good (but then again Morten Olsen knows how to use him proper). It was deserved outcome of a great match, but either side could've won.

Cristiano Ronaldo is easily one of the most skilled footballers I have ever seen in my lifetime, plus he's a beast physically with insane pace and a ferocious shot.

But he's also a preening whinger, former inveterate diver (must say he's gotten a bit better on that front) and generally a giant penis in human form.

So it's just plain fun to see him fail.

Denmark really has surprised me. They pressed Portugal very well in the second half, I though they was the kind of team that only can play defensively.

In that case the danes are babies since they lost to a bunch of boys and girls.

And Ronaldo only had one guilt edge chance, and 9 times out of 10 he buries it so it's ok if the rest of the team come to his rescue this time. He is the first name on the team sheet, and that's how it should be.

I have to give props to the Danish midfield who were excelent in possesion today.

Bento needs to do something about that left side, it was the same in the Germany game. I think one of the problems is also that Veloso doesn't provide adequate cover when Coentrao bombs forward. But Coentrao needs to be a little more cautious sometimes. Against the Dutch, this could be our undoing.

Bendtner faces UEFA action over branded underpants

Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner could be facing UEFA action over ambush marketing after revealing a pair of bookmaker-branded underpants when he scored in today's 3-2 defeat to Portugal at Euro 2012.

The typical excuse that he can't do it all by himself, but when we do good he sure doesn't mind being seen or talked about as if he was Portugal's Savior. We all know he can't do everything on his own, we don't expect him to, what we do expect is that he is at least capable of at least doing scoring a goal or 2. Even in the qualification group he didn't do as well as expected, he scored 5 goals but Nani scored 4 and he isn't worth all those millions nor is he considered the best in the world. And the team is there for him, not exactly their fault he simply just doesn't play for Portugal like he does for Real Madrid yet they are always blamed of not being there for him. Never the poor baby's fault.
I think it's about time people got over this illusion that Portugal will win something just because we have him in the team and start believing, and cheering, more for the other players on the team.

Feel sorry for the stick Ronaldo got yesterday - I thought he had a great game just lacked a goal.

If I were Ronaldo I would get irritated that no one has come up with something knew in the last year or so. If you are going to taunt someone at least make it fresh and interesting.

know bow, but he should just ignore it, definitely not cry about it to the Media.
Well that's gonna make them stop now that everyone knows for sure how much it annoys him. Not very smart Ronaldo, should have just kept your mouth shut.

Yes I would. What exactly will he get from moaning about it besides more Messi chants whenever he plays? He is being ridiculed all over the internet, the majority of people saw his little outburst as him being jealous of Messi, I don't see many feeling sorry for him. He should have kept his mouth shut and let his feet silence the haters by scoring a few goals. If he really had to say something about it then he shouldn't take cheap shots at Messi because Messi isn't responsible for whatever crap the crowd throws at Ronaldo.

Congrats to you then. I wouldn't, and I think of myself as a patient man.
