I must admit I haven't seen anything of him, so I'll wait til then to have an opinion on this.

I'll just assume we know what we're doing :)

Nah, this guy can play football. He's like a non-shit Aaron Ramsey.

From my huge sample size of 1 match, these are the attributes I were able to glean:

    • Comfortable shooting with either foot
    • Has a good shot on him
    • Has a penchant for the spectacular
    • Tries to run right through defenders too often and, consequently, loses the ball . He's young, he'll learn his limits soon enough.
He's like a young Gerrard except less hard working.

He scored a lovely goal in the play off final with his 'wrong foot'.

Will we blend him in with the squad or will he be loaned out?

Can he play in a midfield of 2? Pogba is replaced I guess. Good signing, I am happy. We'll the Hernandez deal and an established midfielder, and business is done for the summer.

Kind of deal we do often, would be interesting to see him though I think we will loan him in January.

Saw a depressing stat today, the last players Fergie Signed from League 2 or below? Hardly a list of players to get your heart racing.
    • Roy Carroll - Wigan Athletic
    • Nick Culkin - York City
    • Dion Dublin - Cambridge
    • Jonathan Greening - York City
    • Lee Martin - Wimbledon
    • Ralph Milne - Bristol City
    • Lee Sharpe - Torquay United
    • Graeme Tomlinson - Bradford City
    • Neil Whitworth - Wigan Athletic

Lee Martin could have been a good player.

not a bad list considering the money we paid. most were gambles... but then again most players are. I think we have real gem in Powell.

the most we paid was £2.5M for Carroll and he was more than serviceable over his time here. Lee Sharpe only cost £200K. I always enjoyed watching him play when I would get the end-of-season VHS tapes. Dion Dublin only cost £1M but he broke his leg too early in his career. then again, that opened it up for Cantona to come in while he was injured.

Nick Culkin cost just £100K and only played 80 seconds for the 1st team over 7 years.

Anyone want to guess where he'll be played? If he is played at all.

I think he'll play out wide for the reserves
