I don't know how those trials in Europe went but I can confirm with my own eyes he's trailing with the CO Rapids. I'm at the Rapids vs Dynamo reserve match and Bobby's in the starting lineup.

Bobby had a tough season last year for the Quakes. Initially, I liked his ability to read the game and distribute from the back. However, last year, his decision making was poor, his passing took a step back, and he provided no coverage to outside back. So, looking for more money while not performing on the field is not really a good career plan. He needs to find work quickly or he may be finding employeement outside of professional soccer.

Still, he is a nice guy and is still young enough to come back and have a decent career. Good luck to him.

Burling has joined Chivas USA. He won't be headed overseas anytime soon.
