You sure that was the final? The match was supposed to start at 7 PM Vincy time so, if thats true, when you made that post it would've been half time...then again I should believe you over an iffy possible start time. No radio feed tonight unfortunately.

Yeah they usually broadcast the Sunday night games. Surprisingly it was one of the guys who usually does the broadcasting who mentioned on the news that yesterday's match was supposed to be at 7 PM. Unfortunately I think commentary position at Arnos Vale is behind one of the goals so usually they have a tough time picking up who is who based on numbers.

Can someone tell me why is it the CFU Nations besides Jamaica have such a hard time securing proper friendlies before their qualifiers?

because Jamaica is a bigger, popular and more marketable team than the rest of the Caribbean nations.

Playing Jamaica is more interesting than playing a Cuba or Guyana. Plus the level of talent.

For attending this match, i would say that we gave the victory to Guyana. We took the game from the right point by opening the score in the 15th second!!!Is it because we scored early on? The game of the Gwada boys has indeed eroded and that is how we restore the confident of Guyana's players. We can only blame ourselves! Luckily it was a friendly match! Guadeloupe-Guyana match played with only local players on both sides!

Can you explain why Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana are not part of FIFA but yet Puerto Rico and USVI are? I dont get what the differnce is?

Why? It's because Guadeloupe has always had the knack of missing the right car! At the time when people did enter non-independent countries within FIFA, Guadeloupe's football league was in trouble. Its new president had just arrived at his post and especially the national team was dormant. Then there was the case of Gibraltar, a British colony, who wanted to join UEFA. Spain is threatening to veto, FIFA decided at that time not to take non-independent countries. But this situation has changed since UEFA intends to integrate Gibraltar in 2013. So we can imagine seeing FIFA do the same!
In 2014, Guadeloupe is normally changed political status by becoming more independent so French Football Federation (FFF) should facilitate the entry of Guadeloupe and Martinique (and maybe French Guyana) to FIFA. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Don't see it happening.. France can't afford to lose their next Thierry Henry, Lillian Thuram, et Marius Tresor.

Or even their basketball players like Rodrigue Beabouis, Johan Pietro, Mikael Pietrus(??), etc.

I think instead that it's possible because all the guadeloupean won't play for France ; be it soccer, basketball or any other sport!

I'll try to get it, match kicks off in an hour and 15 minutes though there likely will not be coverage, nor do I think it is an official match.

I think it was a senior team without Falcao. However this was not an official match as according to that link they had no restrictions on subs.
